I hear all the time that Marilyn Monroe was one of the most attractive woman who've ever lived but to me she's just.....gross.

I feel like there are millions of women MUCH hotter then her.

I also hated her singing voice, that time when she sang happy birthday to John F Kennedy just made me cringe and grit my teeth.

I wouldn't say she is gross by any means, but I don't find her to be 'all that' compared to other gorgeous women. It may have been the way she carried herself/personality though.

Seconded. As a european I've never found her particularly attractive - she always looked like a washed up porn star to me (way too much make up, over exaggerated features etc)
 
I've never understood the obsession with her. She just isn't anywhere close to what I find most attractive.

if there was a time machine and she was brought to the present though, history probably wouldn't remember her unless she's got something beyond looks
 
Well if you style her up in today's modern outfits, makeup and hair styles, she'd still be very pretty but publicly there is a lot more competition than there was back in those days.

I always thought that chick that played Leave it Beaver's teacher, the younger brunette, was so hot.
 
i always though there were plenty of women prettier than marilyn monroe, but her celebrity was fueled by the way she acted as much her looks.

Jesus, Cyd's legs are AMAZING! And the rest is pretty decent to.

Bridgette was smokin hot as a 20 year old but boy did she age quickly.

Marilyn was never my cup of tea but then the guys that prefer the more voluptuous look will tend to appreciate her more. Still, she was beautiful.
