hey dont flame me!!

as far as i go, beer is an acquired taste... i mean at first i hated it then after drinking on a couple of occasions its ok now. i cant stand some brands but others are ok. i dont actually like the taste... i dont mind it thats all. i think smirnoff ice tastes better!
 
Yes I actually like it...I don't drink it for the sole purpose of getting a buzz or getting drunk. Definitely something that is acquired though

As for smirnoff ice, it's just a bunch of sugar...of course it tastes good!

I think it tastes alright, after a few years of drinking it. Most sugarless drinks (or low sugar) are usually aquired tastes. Like black coffee or club soda.
 
I've liked the taste of beer from the first time I ever had it.
Some beers I don't like the taste of like Sam Adams Lager, and some beers I like the taste of better than others, but in general, I love beer.
 
argh i hate coffee.... im anti coffee forever!!! ill drink like 3 cokes to get that cafeine jolt (and i admit i need it) but argh coffee is just the worst
 
coffee's great. i could live on coffee and beer if it were possible. coffee in the mornings, beer in the evenings.

My favs are typically Belgian: Leffe, Duvel, Grimbergen. I'd love to be able to get some Martens Pils here in the States (I believe it's a Dutch beer).

Actually, it has more alcohol than beer. 7% here in canada.



Anyway, as for me, I can't stand beer.


If I wanna have a few drinks with friends, I'd drink Mike's or Dave's, Smirnoff Ice or some cocktail. If I have dinner with family, then its red or white wine and if I wanna drink alcohol, get buzzed and/or get drunk, than its liquor and liquor only.


Never beer though, never.

hmmm smirnoff ice is 5% here vs 6% for most beers.... its darned expensive tho.... i lil 350ml or whatever bottle is 4bucks... most beer is 70-80 cents a can... (in brazilian currency) and the 'gourmet $hit' (to quote pulp fiction) is like 1.50 a can)

vodka is nice to get buzz 🙂
