According to my gf's genetics teacher, guiness contains all the basic nutrients and amino acids you would need for basic survival. He says that if he was trapped on a desert island, the one thing he'd hope would wash up on shore would be a keg of guiness.
Heck...even if it really DOESN'T have all the life-sustaining nutrients, if Ihad to die, I suppose being on a deserted island drinking Guiness isn't a bad way to go...

Yeah, I like it. Now, it does not all taste good, just like everything else you have some really good and really bad tasting beers. I will agree that it is an aquired taste.

After the first 3 or 4 brews, I don't reallly taste it, anyway. Not that I would ever abuse alcohol that way.

It's all about Shiner Bock and Bass Ale.
I used to drink Corona, then I realized it was like drinking badger piss, so I stopped.

I'm not too fond of coffee either. I love all kinds of pop/soda and I'll drink down a few cans a day :D

I can't stand beer.. it's absolutely foul. However, after drinking one or two, it starts tasting pretty good.. (BTW: Did you know Zima is legally beer in Texas? Says so on the bottle..)

Guinness is good, but expensive. If you can find Yuenging it's good and cheap.

I don't like the taste of wine though

Beer is great. Coffee is great. Soda is great. Juice sucks.

As for Beast... well it's flat out awful in the spectrum of beer, and there really isn't a reason to buy it, ever.

If you have some money I like Bass, Guiness, Harp, Saranack or Sam Adams Golden Pilsner. (~$7.50 for a 6)

If you are slightly poorer there's always Bud, but an under appriciated alternative is Killians. (~$5.00 for a 6)

If you're near broke you can always grab a couple 40's of Steel Reserve or St. Ides, both of which are a lot better than Beast, and much more alcoholic.

I like beer, but not unless its nice and cold (With a few exceptions)

my dad is a beer afficionado, and he brews his own every once in a while.. so I get to try a lot of pretty exotic brews. just got back from a trip to europe and got to try some nice Belgian Lambic beers

Some people have their oppinions, some don't
Guiness is nasty. Someone brought that shiz to a gathering once and everyone tried it...rejected it.

I haven't yet found a beer that I truly enjoy. The closest I've come is Guiness, but that makes me feel queasy, especially after a pint.

I love it cause it grows on you. I hated it at start. Same as coffee but now both are nice.

<< mmm...beer.

My favs are typically Belgian: Leffe, Duvel, Grimbergen. I'd love to be able to get some Martens Pils here in the States (I believe it's a Dutch beer).

<-- 1 of 300 laid off on 3/22/02 of jobs moved from US to Canada.

Dude...that sucks. I won't be drinking a Labatt's in your honor...I'll just hoist that 25 oz of Duvel to you.
>>

Belgian beer..and you didn't mention Jupiter? :Q
But heck! at least you show your class by mentioning Duvel!!!

It does grow you. When in HS I didn't care for it much. Around Senior year I developed a taste for it and by college I loved it. By the way, anyone who says they don't like beer I am skeptical of because they're are hundreds of different beers out there. I usually drink the local beers like Shiner Bock or Celis White, but my favorties are Warsteiner and Vanilla Porter.
