I have to agree that Governor Palin's odds of making it through a Republican primary season seem rather long; if you think "the Liberal Media" has been tough on her, just wait until you see what her GOP opponents do. She'll not emerge from that Snake Pit intact.

I agree. It's funny that the hypocrite repugs whine about the lashing palin has received and yet would give her the same or worse if it suited their purposes.

We shouldn't forget how the bush2 campaign smeared mccain with the black love child accusations in south carolina. They're not beyond eating their young.

Would like to see Ms Palin run for POTUS in 2012?

Also please post your answers to the poll questions to give an idea of who supports a Palin for POTUS in 2012.

My thoughts on this thread:

I voted yes.
She will help make Republican politics more interesting than it has been a long time. When I started this thread I thought her political career was over. But now I am not so sure.

As I wrote earlier, I started this thread because of a post I read stating that Ms Palin was a victim of the media and liberals. The poster said that liberals were scared of her and were glad she was dropping out. This is contrary of what people were saying to me.

It is true most Democrats or rather non-Republicans I know thought that Ms Palin was an empty suit and not prepared to be VPOTUS. But all of them wanted her to run in 2012. They thought her on the GOP ticket would ensure that the Republicans would not be in the White House for at least another four years. Mr Bush really poisoned the well for the Republicans.

Since Mr Nixon, the Republicans have been flirting with the angry white guy and working blue collar groups. "Joe the Plumber" and Ms Palin represent the results of those flirtations. Will the working middle class be satified supporting another Republican legacy candidate like Mr George W Bush?

Anybody else note that the majority of people who stated their party leaning choose Independent?
