I am curious about this. At work the other day a guy who is older than me probably mid to late 40's mentioned his alarm clock, and then a younger guy who works with me who is probably 30 or so kind of laughed at the fact that this guy uses an alarm clock to get up. The 30 year old said he just uses his phone.
I'm 37 and I use an alarm clock. The only time I use my phone is when we're waking up to travel and it's a backup because I've been known to turn my clock off while half asleep.
When I get home my phone pretty much gets put down and I rarely see it while at home or look at it. I rarely use it in general as I'm just not one of those people who needs to be on their phone all the time like most people seem to be now a days.
I'm guessing it's also a generational thing too, and this younger kid grew up with phones and stuff so he's always on it and can't live without it.
So do you use an alarm clock to wake yourself up, and what is your age?
