Here is what happened:
Went to restaurant with friend
Order food
She got my order wrong (asked for no onions)
She hot his order wrong (asked for half a sandwich got a whole) It looked like it would be half a club so he ate it anyway
She brought the check, We wanted it split and she charged my friend for the full price.
She went back and corrected the amount but did not split it
We wait for like 20 mins each time she leaves
Eventually have to get another waitress to split the check for us.
we are like 1 of 3 groups there...her only table.
I got the split bill and didn't tip cause she wasted my time, didn't get the order right, and was rude. I forgot my cell phone and went back to get it. She came back handed it to me and said THANK YOU in such a bitchy way it was impressive.
Do you guys always tip? I've had bad experiences before where the waiter was rude and I didn't want to tip but my brother did for me anyway. Why tip of they aren't going to do their job right...its not charity.
EDIT: Yes I have worked in the food industry before and have served people.
