Especially not if they are a machinist. I have very high regards for machinists, they can make anything if you give them a lathe and a milling machine.

There are people with degrees who are worthless, and people without them who are worthless. Having or not having a degree doesn't mean much unless everything else is the same.

Even idiots can get degrees.

A BS degree maybe, and this is why types of degrees matter. Did you get a BA or a BS. BS tends to be worth more as people know since they're harder to achieve. The second is institution. And on the note of type of degree, higher degrees mean even more.

Not really. Higher degrees just means you went to school more.
