If you listen to him, then Covid is a hoax, it does not exist so it does not need to disappear.I was told Covid would magically disappear on November 4th, yet here we are...
I suspect it won't go back to normal until Covid crisis gone. With 2 teen kids I never thought I play game again until retirement, and I never thought I would spend around $800 on a video card.Rumors suggest that things won't even start getting back to normal until March.

But due to stay at home situation, I decided to build a gaming PC to play FPS games, again, after 16 years. Now with a working PC using iGPU, I am waiting for 3080 to finish the build. Apparently I am not alone.
It's not just the 30 series. You can't buy anything right now really. Take a look at Newegg, if you look at the new gaming cards they're actually selling, the best cards they currently have in stock are a couple 5700XT at $490 and $470, and a couple 2060s at $400 and $360.
Are you a human?

If you absolutely needed a new build now with a top end GPU you could drop $470 on a 5700XT, but wow is that going the depreciate when you drive it off the lot.
What a legend of a thread.
The OP's question is as valid in 2021 as it was in 2020
And my answer is still "no"...
Once we get a vaccine everything will return to normal I was told.
