Do you talk to yourself?

When I want to have an intelligent conversation with someone.

It's ok to talk to yourself, it's even ok to argue with yourself, it's when you lose an arguement with yourself that you're in trouble.

The only part I hate is when I answer back.

Bwahaha... that made me laugh... 😉

My sister used to repeat anything that she said. If she said "Im going to the kitchen", she would repeat it to herself. Sort of an echo. I used to be spooked by it.

As for me, I speak in my head. Does that count? Sometimes I also talk to God when Im freaked out 😉

Talking to yourself has been proven to increase your memory of things.... It helps you remember because you're not only repeating things back for the sake of saying them, but your ears will help function memorization. 🙂

It is useful when one is involved in rather complicated calculations or designs. Other than in those cases, I rarely talk to myself.

Yes I do. My son and daughter seem to have the habit also.
It's funny to listen to them, quite the conversationalists. 🙂

"Do you talk to yourself?"

Depends on how many AOL using clients how called for support 🙂

All the time especially in the following instances:

1. When I talk to my children (let's be realistic...they aren't really listening).
2. At work. Outloud. It's freaks out the other people in my office and then they don't bother me.
3. In my mind...usually only when I am counting to 10 in an effort to control an overwhelming urge to throttle the people listed in 1 and 2 above.
