I can only have chewable since my body cant dissolve the horse pill varieties. I take Centrum chewable once or twice a day as a pick-me-up to make it the rest of the day.

I sometimes forget, but I try to take Vitamin C and D daily as well as Omega3. Which, I was forgetting, so I will go take those now. 😛

I have a bad Eczema issue and everything doctors had me try did not work. I went to see a natural path and was told to take Omega 3. Been a few weeks now and the Eczema *seems* to be a bit better though it's hard to tell as some days it's worse than others. Could all be in the head too.

I take a 1-a-day (Centrum).

I doubt it helps in general, but it's insurance in case I'm missing some particular vitamin or mineral like in that House episode where the kid was caring for his mentally ill mom and fed her only frozen cheeseburgers and booze.

(I use House M.D. episodes as my source for all health and fitness advice. Mmm, Vicodin.)

I take 6 Armor-V caps a day, and also Animal Flex. It's not exactly a multi, it's for joints. Not sure, but I think each packet has 9 pills in it. I use to really struggle with swallowing pills but now I can down all 6 Armor V's in a single gulp.

No, my diet is great so I don't need any synthetics to try to make it better. Vitamin D is the only exception, I take it occasionally.

No. For the most part, the OTC multi-vitamins only make expensive piss that is often rather brightly colored.

I take a Centrum multivitamin every day; not a crazy high dosage vitamin, but rather one that has 100% of pretty much everything. I add a 5000iu vitamin D pill to it.

I also try to eat healthy... Had a ribeye steak with a salad for dinner, and red snapper on top of a spinach/quinoa salad for lunch. Good stuff!

No, I have a very nutritious diet (portion control could improve though) combined with Omega 3, iodine+ tyrosine, and selenium+ zinc supplements to promote a healthier thyroid (and thereby an ideal cholesterol ratio)

Yes. I figure it can't hurt.
Except, it can. The link above you references cancer. There are other studies that show vitamin supplementation (non-prescribed, like most of us do) can increase mortality in certain ways.

I frankly take a multi-vitamin a few times/week, but not regularly. It's pretty damn obvious that even best-case scenario it has a very mild improvement to the average person's health.

I put a 1/2 scoop of a GNC mens vitamin mix in with my morning smoothie. 2 scoops is the actual "recommended" size. It's far too much "stuff" at once. Toss that in with a scoop of whey, an avocado, homemade almond milk, banana, spinach, and frozen berries and I'm good to go till lunch 🙂

That sounds like a truly nutrient packed breakfast. If only I had the motivation to spend that much time preparing something like that

I try to remember to take one every day. I figure if they prescribe prenatal vitamins to women when they are pregnant, a multi-vitamin can't be bad for you.
I've compared the vitamins side by side with what I take and while there are differences, they are not nearly as drastic as I would have thought.

I was eating fast food all the time throughout my 20s and early 30s with no vitamins. In the last year+, my wife cooks full meals including leftovers for lunch. I hardly eat fast food anymore and also eat a daily Centrum. I didn't feel a damn difference and I sure didn't get sick any less. I feel exactly the same. I even forgot to take Centrum the last month or so and still I feel the same. I'm not saying I want to go back to fast food and would be justified, but this is my experience. I even dropped 6 lbs that I didn't want or need to drop eating "healthier". Someone tell me this is at least surely good for my lifespan.
