Yep, have one sitting in the basement with a northwood P4 and Windows 2000 server running on a pair of 40GB WD drives. 😀
It's the brownish color Antec variant IIRC. Sturdy case!

rofl chenming....

I had the knock off version from enermax as well.

Did they make the Alienware color cases too?

I somehow managed to talk myself out of getting a Saints Row / Prince purple case, but it was a near thing 🙂

yup still have mine (antec version, was called the 1040 SOHO i believe), grey color.

always meant to transfer my freenas setup to it but never got around to it. it still sits in the basement with my Pentium 4C in it.

im still in awe of how big and heavy that thing is..

Still strange that some of these were “Antec” branded at a time when computer cases were the only thing Antec was known for. So they were putting their name on someone else’s case...

I had one the exact same color. Mine was a Raidmax branded example. I had an Abit motherboard and AMD CPU's from way back in my case with an ATI 9800pro.

Got two of them still, one as a functioning system.

The original green version has the working Athlon XP Barton 2500+ with ATI Radeon 9800 Pro.
Also a black version with dynamat and 80mm vantec stealth fans and incomplete AMX FX-57 system.

Great server case. I have the full-tower, with six 5.25" bays, one 3.5" external / floppy bay, and six (two three-drive units) 3.5" internal drive bays.

Don't use it any more, got something more compact with just eight 3.5" internal drive bays. (NZXT Source 210, I think that it is.)

I remember looking at those when building my first custom system (2005). Still a good looking case, even with design trends changing.

I have worked on these myself though oddly never had one myself. They really were pretty good cases.

This. Never got one. I still have my first case. An ATC-200, all aluminum case. I just threw out two P180 cases. Couldn't find a taker and still have two unused cases.

I had the Antec Performance II SX630II in beige but wanted the chieftec case as an upgrade so bad!

I'm glad you can still buy these. I would be surprised if you can find a compatible window kit for the link OP provided for the updated one.

Yeah, had one of those two, Soyo Dragon motherboard days, with a P4 CPU, an IDE Hard Drive.. 80mm fans with those fancy grills from SVC. Man, the nostalgia.

I had to make sure, and lo and behold I have one right across the room from me. It believe it's the black Enermax flavor. I tossed a bunch of 2TB SAS HD's on an LSI MegaRAID adapter just to keep some images and hard to find apps
