TBH, for me it would be MUCH more interesting to evaluate whether Bernie can get the nomination over Hilary.

Can you imagine a Bernie <--> Trump race?

Edit: Make no mistake, I dislike Trump and Hilary....but in a Hilary <--> Trump race I would almost tend towards Trump, for the entertainment & "insanity" factor alone. Otherwise of course Bernie.

Ruh Roh - Trump is scaring some people by proposing something intelligent for the overall future of the US economy.

God forbid we do some things like close the tax loophole for companies that make an acquisition overseas and then claim their headquarters are located in the overseas location... Or simply make companies that outsource pay more than those that keep jobs at home....

What's funny is Clinton never mentions this or the H1b problem. how does she feel about these things?

Can you define silly season or serious thinking for me? I am also curious as to what you mean by best equipped.

Best equipped meaning having to suck kock and wage wars to make sure the doners get a return on investment.

Why would she think its a problem? The Republicans are busy saying get out of my country.

Who do you think they'll vote for once they become citizens? The guys who antagonize them and shoot up their places of worship or the ones who say this is a land of immigrants.

You're absolutely right. Hillary doesn't care about anything unless it affects Hillary.

"DEM CORPORASHUNS ARE KILLIN ER JERBS!!! ELECT HILLARY SO SHE CAN IGNORE THE PROBLEM!!!"

LOL, Democrats.

I appreciate, and think it's fitting, that the US Presidential election has the potential to become such a joke. If the best we can do is something terrible like another Clinton versus Bush I don't see a problem with the Trump comedy option.

Our Government doesn't take itself seriously anymore. People don't seem to care about anything beyond bickering over the immaterial. Might as well turn the whole thing into a Springer-esque freak show.

And trumplestiltskin succumbs to yet another 'gotcha' question

"Donald Trump stumbled when asked about the heads of major terrorist organizations on Thursday and then lashed out at what he called a "gotcha question.""

"Trump, the front-runner for the GOP nomination, blasted conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt in an interview and said it is "ridiculous" to be questioned about who leads Hamas, Hezbollah, al-Nusra and ISIS.

"I think it's ridiculous. I'll have, I'm a delegator. I find great people. I find absolutely great people, and I'll find them in our armed services, and I find absolutely great people,"

trumplestiltskin further added:
"As far as the individual players, of course I don't know them. I've never met them. I haven't been, you know, in a position to meet them. If, if they're still there, which is unlikely in many cases, but if they're still there, I will know them better than I know you,"

Yea, gop, you got a winner here.

If you think that asking about leaders of terrorist organizations is a 'gotcha' question you have no place running for president.

Trump always always always speaks in vague generalities.

Interviewer: "What's your plan for xyz?"

Trump: "It's great! You're going to love it!"

Interviewer: "Could you be more specific?"

Trump: "I don't want to be specific, but it's great! You're going to love it!"

OR

Interviewer: "How are you going to fix xyz?"

Trump: "We suck! Our leaders have failed us! I'm going to fix it!"

Interviewer: "How will you fix it?"

Trump: "I don't want to get into specifics, but I'm better at fixing things than our current leadership!"

Apparently this counts for wisdom.

Bull Shit. It's a gotcha-question if you think knowing their names means anything. It's a gotcha-question just because you posted this. You don't have to know people's names to kill them or want them dead. If you are sitting around and learning their names, you're not paying attention to what you need to do to aim. Not knowing some famous world leader is just more of the horse shit politics game the press uses to fuck candidates.

This is the same horse shit that drove Perry to wearing glasses and turned him into a phony pretender, as are all of the candidates. We get irrelevant leaders because we demand that they know irrelevant things. Knock that shit off or I will strip you of one of your many gold stars.

It won't be any time at all and we will be judging our candidates on what kind of cloth is best to wipe a hard drive. Focus on what matters for God's sake.

No different than any other candidate who offers no specifics other than generic answers to questions. Although Sanders seems to offer the most specifics of all the candidates.

A fascist dictator is the invariable end result for such an ignorant and infantile electorate. Did you know that the basis for the Nazi party was the complete and utter delusion that Germany could have won the first world war if only they hadnt surrendered? It was an ideology that was basically just a surrender to madness. There was no way they were going to win that war. If you just look at the last few battles of that war, it should have been obvious, but for most of Germany, it simply wasnt. People in this country are as blind as the Germans were, and that is what truly enables people like Hitler to rise into power. Few in this country know how truly corrupt our political system has become, and that is an ignorance that is every bit as extreme as the ignorance that brought the Nazi party into power.

The classic "stabbed-in-the-back" myth.

It is used widely and proudly by many people to this day here.
