Do you own any weapons?

The point of this thread is not to discuss the moral issue of whether or not people need to own weapons.

So with that out of the way, do you own any weapons? Are they for Civilian, Law Enforcement or Other use?

I don't own any fire arms, I am saving up for a Colt .45 Model 1991 (It's the updated 1911), and if I can't buy that I would like to buy a Sig P200 pistol.

I do own a Buck Model 121 Combat Knife, I have never used it for anything. It just sits in it's sleave, I take it out periodicly and look it over - then I put it away. It's more of a collector knife.

My pinky finger has a mind of its own and frequently uses the 54 ways it knows to kill a man in one fell swoop! :Q

Other than that, no.

Yeah but no command codes! Hehe j/k - actualy... I wouldn't know and don't care to know either hehe 😀

Go with Glock! I am a member of law enforcement and most everyone I know carries Glock. They are practically indestructable. There are only three moving parts and you can bury the things in the back yard dig em up a month later and shoot the hell out of them. You can put 10000
rnds through them before they ever need a drop of oil.I'm not saying
Colt doesn't make good guns.I'm saying if you want the most reliable
low-maintenance weapon money can buy.Get a Glock. Nuff' said.

livin... Baretta much better... glocks will wear out faster.... but than again who puts 40000 rounds thru their gun?

Yeah my friend used to own a Glock 18, he said it was a very high quality weapon. But I'm not planning on going into any battles, I'd like to own a Colt .45 becuase it's the weapon that won two world wars, Korea, Nam - just a sentimental sort of thing. Not a gun to fire allot - a gun to collect.

I have a pair of nunchucks that I used to be pretty proficient with.....never had to use them though.

my lips are lethal weapons also...w00t!

Where I used to live (Chicago, Illinois) it was actualy illegal for a civilian to own nunchucks. I always found that very odd.

<< I have a really big kitchen knife. I could kick those crappy nunchuks ass! >>

..........maybe now I have something to use them on. Bring it on sissy boy.

Well I learned from a Karate instructor that you need several sustaned hits to imobilize some one with nunchucks - he only needs one lucky stab/slice.

Assuming someone has a pretty good efficiency with nunchucks against someone just messing around with a kitchen knife, I would still want to be the one with the nunchucks. But yes it might be a different story against someone who knows how to wield a knife.

Now that Colt has gotten out of the civilian handgun market (except for custom shop or SAA Army's), the prices have doubled for run of the mill .45's. Plan on $800-$850 new in box - but better do it now.
