Do you hate the metric system?

I can understand Americans having a hard time getting used to metric. In Europe we ditched most local currencies for the Euro. That takes a lot of getting used to as well, so I'm with you all. I guess it's a slow process. If you grow up with Euro's you wouldn't know any better, same with metric. A lot of legacy stuff is in inches though, like 19" racks. I don't see that changing very soon.

Not when you are doing engineering problems, you will get 1 out of every 4 problems wrong due to conversion mistakes. Thats how they lost one space probe that is suppose to land in Venus a while back, because they made the mistake in their calculation while using SAE.
