Do you hate fall/winter?

i love fall, without hesitation. absolutely love it.

and there's a lot to love about winter....... except for its duration. I love big snowfalls, and i love snowboarding, but i don't need the endless gray. for months. plus it's hard on cars (and traffic). yeah, i need to move.

spring blows because it's just more gray skies, and it rains all the time. and it's just a too-long tease before summer comes along and makes things right again.

yeah, i need to move.

The second week of September until Halloween are the absolute best 6 weeks of the year.

You get that warm daytime sun and that crisp, refreshing, cool edge to the air at night that just feels awesome.

It's the start of football season, you can workoutside without sweating your sac off, dark beers start tasting better, and chili really hits the spot.

Fall rocks.

I love the winter. It gets cold.
I love snowmobiling, cross country skiing, and even though I'm 27, I still like snow forts.
I love making bonfires/campfires and relaxing.

Also, it's much cheaper to run the heat at the minimum comfortable temp 58 deg F then it is to run the AC at the max comfortable temp 70 deg F.

I looove fall. It is, by far, my favorite season. I love the change of colors, and crisp air. I like winter because I like getting to wear coats and layers of clothing. My ideal day wouldn't get above 60degF. And I live for Halloween. I look forward to it every year. My wife and I love curling up and watching slasher flicks.

I tolerate summer for about a month, and then I quickly grow tired of the goddamn heat.

I can't wait to move back to Denver (and to start skiing again, which obviously makes winter all the better). I can't stand living somewhere that has no seasons....I'm NEVER going to move to the South again.

edit: where's the poll?

As someone else said, it's much easier to get warm in the winter than cool in the summer. I hate the sun. Since the beginning of time, man has yearned to destroy it. Someday, I will succeed.

Oh, and I love how crisp the air feels. And I love wearing coats. And I love going to work in the dark, and coming home in the dark. Winter is great.

I love the fall, but the 6 month winter here gets a bit old ... plenty of time for indoor pursuits.
