Do you feel fulfilled?

With what you have? Your situation? Are you living the ideal life?

I am confused. I have a job, a boyfriend, yet I am looking for something else. Can't put my finger on it. I'm really unhappy. :(

An ideal life? far from it. But am I happy? More so than I've been in a long time, yes. School's going good, I have a job, a wonderful girlfriend, everybody around here is healthy for once, so things are going pretty well.

EDIT: I hope nobody caught that  It's late; I think I'll go to bed.

I am quite happy.

My days consist of going to classes and then come back home, play videogames, and then watch Star Trek.

What more could I want?

Let me ask you this - do you find deep meaning in the things that you have?

I'm living out a life where everything I do, whether it's speaking to some nef from the internet or going to class or making a career decision, is the opportunity to take a step closer to my Beloved. Fulfillment is in every heartbeat.

I'd be lying if I said that completely annihilated frustration, disappointment, or stress, but it does go a long way. I have peace in the place of that, and can live in joy without fear of what happens next or worrying about maintaining this state of fulfillment.

God is good.

I try to appreciate the things that I have right now. Somehow, the grass has always seemed greener on the other side for me.

First of all, I want whatever meds you're on right now. :p ;)

On to the topic of the thread: Fulfilled? No. Far too much wanderlust for me to be fulfilled. I doubt that I will ever be fulfilled. Not that it's really a bad thing, but I've never been fulfilled thusfar and I really don't expect it. Hard to be fulfilled when you always want to be moving, getting away. I've sort of got a girlfriend, but things really didn't change with that and I'm not sure about the future there. (C'est la vie.) No steady job in the career sense but I'm still in college and making do with part-time stuff. There's a little malaise from not having found any place or person that really makes me want to stick around for a long time and I suppose that in the end that's what I'm looking for.

There's a line from a song that says, "I would travel all my life if loneliness were not the price.", I'd travel anyway I think.

No! I'm not living my ideal life. Tons of problems.

But all the most important things are good. And I know where I find my happiness - in my family. Just spending time with my parents or firends is very fulfilling, but most of all is spending time with my wife and children.

Sometimes life makes it difficult for us to focus on the people who bring us the most happiness. Or we take them for granted. If you want to feel more fulfilled, call your mom and tell her you love her. Schedule a time to goto lunch and just chat with your brothers or sisters. Let your children jump on you and wrestle with you or play some old video game with them that you haven't touched inyears, yet it will be fresh and exciting to them... Time with family is the key!

My son - just today - was uber impressed with his old man because I could beat the 'training missions' on an old ps1 game (elemental gearbolt!). I also worked on carving some wooden cars with my boys (for their pinewood derby at cub scouts. This time might just have been wasted sleeping otherwise (since I work nights) Now i'm at work, tired, but it has been a great day! But all my problems are still there... certainly not the 'ideal life', but all the important things are good.

Life should be measured not by the number or quality of things we enjoy, but by the number and quality of things we enjoy for which we would not trade for money...

You're probably feeling unsatisfied. Do you want to live an exciting life?
Maybe your man doesn't take you out to have fun or you don't get out as much
as you need to.

Are you accomplishing your life goals? Do you have life goals?

More please. What meaning?

Is there currently any meaning in your life?

I am doing things because I need to do things. I'm living aimlessly, even my job gives me no satisfaction. I don't know what are my plans for the next few years and this scares me even more. I have friends with whom our relationships have toned down because of work and commitments that prevent us from getting together. As for my family, they are not around. Bah. I'm not desperate though :) Just lost I guess?

Anyone watched Lilo and Stitch? Well, I'm like Stitch when it said 'I'm lost' :(

If I had someone to share some time with (a girlfriend), I would be happy :) I am happy right now, just not fulfilled...
