This is hardly comparable. Parents do not create the entire world in which they're children exist, nor are they infallible.Originally posted by: Seekermeister

God never condemned us, we do that ourselves. If you really wanted to use your brains, you would attempt to understand that, as well as the route to escape.
Of course, God being all knowing, he knows what our free will is going to make us do. When he stuck that tree there and said not to eat from it, he knew darn well what would happen, but he did it anyway.
Either that, or God is in fact NOT all knowing.
Are you a parent? Have you ever told your Child to not do something, knowing that they would anyway?
That's a lovely assertion. "The moon is made of green cheese." "Your mother is a sasquatch." "Circles have pointy corners." Also, all assertions, and also all as meaningless as the one supplied by you.Your position is that God should never have allowed any evil to exist, but if He had done that, good could not have existed either.
It would be interesting to see you try to explain how we are not puppets in light of the alleged fact that your god foreknew infallibly and precisely what our future would entail when he created us.The only other alternative is that He would have made us puppets, incapable of disobeying Him, but I doubt that you would have cared for that much either.
