I?m not up for flaming and offended people and their beliefs, but when I pick up a bible and try and read its?.Doesn?t convince me.

I want to believe there is a god, I want to believe that we?re all born good and are looked down upon by a higher being for who we really are.

Anyone else confused like me ?

no

but i would change my mind if there's any evidence at all pointing otherwise. heck i think i even want to believe, but it's just too far fetched.

well, to be precise, an intelligence unlikely our own, maybe, but something that is like God eg all powerful and controlling all aspects of the world, no. well... maybe.

ok i'm just confused

how the hell can one know anyway? you just randomly pick a side and believe it? no thanks.

The text itself isn't meant to bring you to salvation.

Do you really need any more than that? Do you absolutely have to have a set of guidelines to tell you what to do and not do?
If the Bible doesn't cut it for you, there are numerous other religious texts out there, I would suggest trying one of them.

Yes I believe in *something* and have discovered that articulating about it here is a complete and total fvcking waste of time. I'd rather debate the usefulness of popsicles on the sun with a bunch of retarded inbred monkeys.

Don't laugh.

Get in a space ship with unlimited fuel. Keep going.....and going.....and going......

What happens?

Answer: No one knows.

Why is this relevant. There has to be a higher being in place. How can space or anything never end? There is a greater intelligence at play here.

I used to be but then I just said fvck it and stopped trying to figure it out. It's great really, I don't worry about death or what happens after I die, since I just become plant food, and I have my Sundays free to go surfing or work around the house. I can also dismiss any holy rollers as nutjobs. Life is good. :D

Yes

I mean, I am chrisitan but I dont really practice much and am not a zealot. I still drink, do some weed, have sex and party alot. I dont really care what religion somebody is, or if they are atheist or satanist or whatever. In the end though, I find the universe hard to fathom without some sort of god.

science cannot prove that there is no God.

I believe that there is.
