This thread is a perfect example. No one attacked you, you did it all by yourself.

That repost thread of yours is another great example. Its rare to see you ever start a thread since you don't have the guts to do it most of the time but when you did for the first time in Offtopic in months, you reposted.

People called you on it and instead of admitting to it saying "sorry" or "my bad" you decided to start ripping everyone.

Thats the difference between you can me Dawn, I'm smart enough and man enough to admit when I'm wrong. You've been on this earth almost double the time I have and you still haven't figured that out.

I know you aren't the only one who has done that. It's just that I'm getting tired of seeing good threads ruined by one person calling out someone else, which turns the thread into a flamefest. I don't care if you and Tex don't get along. But two people shouldn't ruin a thread for everyone else.

The first sentence in the first post of this thread mentions that he does NOT want to name names so the thread gets locked.

You're using the argument that because this thread is about slamming phonies, then you're still on-topic when you slam someone. Well, if that's the case, then I would argue that you are NOT "on-topic" when you start naming names. If the first message of the thread determines the topic, then as soon as you start doing things that are the opposite of what that message states, then you're off-topic.

The purpose was to talk about people who impersonate others, IN GENERAL. NOT to name individuals and start a war. That's what Skoorb said. I don't think that's difficult to understand.

Tex, that's part of the illusion of the internet. Over the net, you can call someone on something they said but there really isn't accountability (not counting the mods). Stating the obvious, as you and RD both claim to do, only serves to ignite a flame-fest.

As you probably know, sarcasm doesn't always translate very well in text.

That said, I just re-read what you wrote before, and I failed to find the sarcastic humor in the post, the Yin/Yang line notwithstanding.

I simply gave the reason why he doesn't like me. I never said I was stating the obvious either.

If you are talking about true accountability you are correct.
