You're most likely wrong. They put in teasers to the next Marvel movie coming out, which iirc is Captain America, no?

A very good point but
I'm a big Cap fan, and I don't see any correlation between it and Cap, the cap teaser was in Iron Man 2

3D is terrible, I had no choice but to watch Tron in 3D, content of the movie aside the 3D was really distracting.

Basically, watching movie.. getting into story... OMG SCENE SHOT JUST TO SHOW OFF HOW 3D IT IS...

Good thing I watched it in 2D then. Too bad when 3D versions are available the proper ones get relegated to smaller screens.

"see thor in 3D"?

Maybe he meant it to say "Do not see Thor" instead.

Saw it.....average. But, had to cover a lot of backstory, after all. Certainly wasn't the worst comic book/movie interpretation I've seen, but certainly not the best, either.

I thought it was third best Comic book based superhero movie. (here's my list)

1) Superman
2) Iron Man
3) Thor
4) Superman II
5) Superman Returns
6) Spider-Man
7) Iron Man 2
8) X-Men
9) The Incredible Hulk
10) Spider-Man 2
11) X-Men 2
12) X-Men 3
13) Fantastic Four
14) Superman III
15) Spider-Man 3
16) The Hulk
17) Fantastic Four 2
18) Wolverine Origins
19) Superman IV
20) Daredevil
21) Ghostrider

Seriously. Evidence please.

I don't have an opinion one way or the other as to the future viability of 3D displays in general, but I think he could be alluding to:

- 3D catches on: a glassless standard will be agreed upon for OTA and bluray, rendering current 3D display models obsolete.

- 3D does not catch on: 3D display models remain an niche product until obsolete.

However, by the time the future viability of 3D is sorted out, many of those currently owning 3D displays at home will probably be looking to upgrade anyway. But who knows? I have no horse in this race, just wondering out loud. *shrugs*

How's the movie Rango? Anyone seen it? It's a double-header at the drive-in tonight (with Thor); I think it's time for a date night with the wife.

Shh.... don't tell anyone that this doesn't say anything important. HAL9000 is a limey and 3D is not a gimmick.

interesting that you neglected Nolan's Batman movies. ...which means that you theoretically rank them below Ghostrider, Daredevil and slew of other shitty, shitty movies.

Watchmen is the best superhero movie to date, I must say.

I didn't mention any Batman films, because IMO batman isn't a superhero.

And Watchmen isn't based on a Comic book, it's a graphic novel.
