I hope Groove does not post any more, being the "leader" of the "amd focus group" according to the "light" many, (including apoppin) have " shined" upon that group.

I never accused grooveriding of anything at all. In fact, he encouraged me to buy nvidia in the past. I've also pm'ed him to reiterate that stance. All that I know for sure is that apoppin has been approached by an AMD viral marketer in the past. I have seen reasonable posters like russiansensation attacked in the recent past here, but, unlike apoppin, I think that it's reasonable to assume that most or all of those attackers were just amd fanboys. And if they weren't then that's ok, too, as long as that sort of thing doesn't happen here in the future.

No, I'd prefer to continue to explore why you felt the need to imply that there's a vast conspiracy of pro-AMD posters here and yet are unwilling or unable to provide any evidence at all. I think it goes to the heart of the matter on the topic of people's motivations for posting here. It's also a useful way to point out the facts, namely that there's no one else who can provide any evidence of pro-AMD "teams" similar to the nVidia focus group.

Most importantly, I'm going to reiterate that anyone who wants to offer me free AMD hardware should get in touch with me. So far the vast underground conspiracy has been silent. Again, I guess that just means they're good at keeping secret - or maybe they're just figments of an overactive imagination. But just in case, I can keep a secret too, especially for free hardware.

But if you'd prefer to distract from that discussion, I can't really stop you. I'll just try to keep bringing it back on topic so that people can see what's really going on here with all the innuendo and diversion away from a few simple facts.

If a company wishes to give people samples of their product for evaluation purposes, I have no problem with that. That is, as long as their affiliation is prominently disclosed. Getting caught as a shill and then adding the disclaimer later is not acceptable. A person who gets caught shilling should be permanently shown the door and that company should receive an Anand Lal Shimpi nasty-gram.

The truth comes out, the reason why Keys is so confident that there are AMD viral marketers is because he is one himself! As a double agent, he's casting aspersions on AMD to generate sympathy for AMD in the forums.

Yes, it's pretty much a long overdue witch hunt I guess. Whether Apoppin comes through is yet to be seen. He may just strike a deal with AMD to keep things cool between them. Or, he can report to the public what he knows.
I really deeply hope it's the latter. That would be very kewl.
