which lebron is 360 and which is x1? those look nearly identical.

There's an obvious difference, but not to the point that I actually care. The 360 version doesn't look bad and the Xbox One version doens't look great. They still use the same simplistic lighting models and it's still just a basketball game.

I think it looks pretty fantastic on the xb1 and ps4. The animations sometimes get weird but overall I was very impressed with it.

Agree, it actually is more impressive than most PS4/XB1 games imho in terms of showing the next-gen potential. By fall we should have a number of great titles, but it really is pretty thin right now. Titanfall is a fun game on an awful engine (for 2014), BF was buggy, COD was a disappointment, AC was okay but obviously cross-gen limited, etc. Even Forza was rushed and developed towards a PC 'XB1 spec target', and had to be scaled back considerably to go gold on final hardware, KZ had to be pulled back in the MP section to hit the desired framerate, yadda yadda.

With some additional seat time and tweaks, we should start seeing better performing games hit the PS4/X1, and the solely next-gen games should really pick up. I'm not expecting complete miracles like some are, but there's no reason things have to look so gimped. Somewhere in the middle seems most likely.

The difference between the 360 and PS4 is very convincing to me with the PS4 having much smoother textures at a higher rez; things no longer looked as smudged together. Sports games on the 360 are decent though it's in the large open world games the 360 struggles. I just feel the developers tryed to put more on the the 360 than it could handle most of the time.

I'd like to see many of the 360 games with the PS4 power.

Agreed, Between NBA 2K14 and Rayman: Lengends I've been having a great time with the new console, both looking great. The real test will come though when we see how well it handles infamous. Hopefully no muddy looking smeared textures and some pretty smooth edges.

I'm looking forward to a new fallout game, I'll buy another ps4 when that comes out. The extra horse power of the ps4 should show big time when compared to the xbone.
NBA 2k14 is laggy on xbone compared to ps4 too. I had a much better time playing it on ps4 but I still play it a couple times a week on my xbone.

I've currently been playing titanfall, I love that game. It got me away from cod until they bring back zombies

I think the real test is watch dogs. That is looking like it might have been significantly turned down on the consoles, with lots of rumours about delays due to performance problems on the consoles. It will clearly look worse on 360/ps3 but the big question is ps4/xbone and whether the lighting is turned down there as well.

Can't wait for infamous soon enough. This week should be short. From what I saw in the live steam it looked like textures were pretty smooth. I honestly think infamous will look better than watch dogs on the console, not pc.

Infamous looked a little corny to me. Not sure which one will provide a more realistic living world but both super hacker and super kid there look like something created for teens/pre teens in mind.

It's mostly about the gameplay and effects vs teen super hereo or hacker. I never was into the previous infamous games but they were kind of fun. This one looks to be a lot better.

I dunno to me it looks like buildings are just obstacles you bounce, hop and skip around with some annoying sounds and pretty effects to go from A to B without much depth or life to the city itself. I could be wrong.
I played the original Infamous and felt repetitive quickly.

Meanwhile Watch Dogs kinda reminds me of GTA but I assume there also isn't much else to do outside of novelty hacking missions.
I think it would be fun if some dev would experiment with voice recognition interaction with NPC's....kinda similar to the demo game called Facade where you type what you want and get a reaction from the characters. The technology is out there and has been demonstrated to have computer recognize voice with some interaction...That Dreamcast game comes to mind, fogot the name of it. I'd like to see some kind of A.I. improvement and interaction beyond just some dummy robots that just mimic the visual look of a living city.
