No Lifer
Reminds me of TridenT who bitches about things; has a solution handed to him, and then ignores the living fuck of it only to complain more...
Surely i'm misinterpreting this...
I told a manager that he was pretty much worthless when he was checking someone out at the Albertsons and wouldn't give a guy 33c off of some crackers that the customer insisted failed to be labeled "buy 2 get 33c off each".
Taking convenience store margins and not willing to let the old dude have 33c off some crackers... I told him and then I said "that was just stupid, think of the mangers you would have gotten over his life time if he was loyal... that may only be another five years, but still!"
.. people in line laughed, but the manager didn't.
Someone making unrealistic demands or an employee not honoring prices as marked are totally different things.
Also the beauty of this was I didn't want money back, I wasn't expecting to be able to exchange the shirt either. I was hoping they'd let me.
What I didn't expect was to be referred to as a liar and that I must have done the damage.
That is where the customer is always right comes in (outside of everyone's insane scenarios). You can easily explain that you agree and still be unable to meet their requests.
I would have accepted the Manager's reply, asked her to dispose of the shirt and replaced it myself along with making some other purchases that evening.
You guys are always good for a laugh. It's like in college where 20 people thought I was wrong and yet I got the highest grades and accolades.
Trying too hard to troll every thread of mine and instead basically prove my point.
