Real Clear Politics has it at 11 so far with one race still up in the air.
McCarthy is claiming 12.

Well any wins for the Republicans is good news for our country.

I wouldn't compare the 2020 House results to 2018. Midterms are much lower turnout and Trump wasn't at the top of the ticket, it's a different beast entirely. A better comparison is 2016, and Democrats did significantly better than that.

Accurate, i think we'll see gains for the Republicans is 2022 that will look more like the Democraps gains in 2018. Except in the Senate, they'll do much better there.

In the era of Trump Republicans have shown that they are a total garbage party of mostly garbage people, in a political sense, save a few that are actually standing up to Trump. 90-95% of Republicans are corrupt or delusional lunatics.

And there he goes, proving that what I said is exactly true, the Republican party is mostly full of garbage people.
If u don't wanna shoot drugs and drink MD 20/20, then get back to your 10 hour shift at minimum wage and no healthcare, while your betters mock you. those are your only two choices in a crippled mind like dumdum_mahal.

Democrats vote differential is much higher than their seat differential. Basically, current distracting favors Republicans. That is all. More votes are cast for democrats at all levels of government.

You do know that this is a Republic? That redistricting will be in the hands of State Legislatures and that Republicans control a majority of those?

They shouldn't, they should demand and earn top wages, or start their own business. Start your own business and acquire your own wage slaves.
Just going to put this out there if you are a democracy loving hardworking individual tired of being tajs wage slave you COULD migrate to Scandinavia, we’d love to have you.. 5 day work week 37 hours / week and 6-7 weeks paid vacation, childrens first and second sick day, socialized healthcare and education plus much more. Apply now. Come get some of that American dream.

There it is. Bootstraps is your answer.

You go and open a mom and pop store next to Walmart. See how you do by offering higher prices to customers. And meeting regulations meant to solidify monopolies. You and "The American Dream" club want to pretend it is still the 1950s, before mega corps figured this !@#$ out. Before Capitalism did what it does best, and eliminates the little guy. Bigger is better.

Mature industries basically don't have start ups. If they do, only a handful survive. You know how many people we need to house and feed in this nation? They need actual material things, not fake dreams of being the next Bill Gates. Cause guess what? How many people became Bill Gates since Bill Gates became Bill Gates? I'll guess maybe a thousand. Is it ten thousand? Depends how you want to define it. But 90% of people WILL NEVER DO THAT. For every door of opportunity someone steps through, hundreds of thousands of others close beside them.

That you don't even conceive of this is quite alarming. How is that delusion maintained? Oh yes, by victim blaming. Isn't that right?

Capitalism evolves over time, and our society must evolve along side it. To ensure a minimum, a safety net, that can ride the wave of mass unemployment developing before our eyes. To help our fellow man. For what is a society to be judged on, if not for how it treats its most vulnerable? Bootstraps are NOT going to help anyone. They aren't real.

Currently yes, but with dems picking up ground in the suburbs this may change. Than it will be their turn. Hopefully the dems learned that the GOP isn't interested in working together. Turnabout is fair play.

In the mean time I get to relish in the fascist tears being shed for the orange one.

It sounds like you are almost proud of Republicans using redistricting to disenfranchise voters by creating jigsaw puzzle piece like districts that make zero sense on any level except that of a pure power grab. Oh wait, you are proud of that, because you are Trumper garbage.

No, Republicans use redistricting to get citizens of similar interests, jobs, economic reasons to be in the same district. You know to have a Representative actual try to support their constituents.

Gerrymandering has a lot of racist roots in it. How to disenfranchise minority voters, especially blacks, of course you'd defend it as representing 'similar interests'.

You are also arguing against a politician being able to serve the interests of a diverse electorate, which is insane, rather only one of a narrow slice of the population. But of course it is insane, because you are nuts.

But that's what gerrymandering does, take the interests of one demographic and tweak it geographically to represent it at the expense of every other demographic. A perfect encapsulation of shitty Republican policy. So thanks for summing it up so well.

Here is a nicely gerrymandered district for you.
