So I read through all the posts. Not a single person here pointed out that his friends should be the ones accused of sexual misconduct. Sure, Brett has his dick out but it's his friends that made his penis touch a female's hand.
In short this is a pathetic scraping of the bottom of the barrel. (Jaskalas pointed that out at least).
However outrageous people may feel about what's been done to Kavanaugh, it pales in comparison to the crime committed by the Republican party to nix Obama's right to appoint a replacement. McConnell and the Republicans are the real shits and payback is coming one way or another. It's Karma and folks never give it a heed until their are ground under it's wheel.
Then I think these alleged "legions" should go forth and convict the Judge and place him in a jail cell where you think he belongs.
In other words shit or get off the pot.
I am pointing out the politically opportunistic and disingenuous nature of this entire discussion.
I have no doubt that Kavanaugh was your typical ivy league frat boy. I also know his behaviors were at the time of Porky’s and Animal House and Motley Crue, where both men and women willingly engaged in behaviors that we would condemn now. I came of age in that era, and lets just say there were a lot of parties, a lot of sex and a lot of negligence by adults in checking those behaviors.
Fairfax is suing the media for giving his victim a voice. No one seems concerned about that. But then again, such accusations should play out in a courtroom, not social media.
RGB praised Kavanaugh for appointing an all female staff, which does more to move the needle in the right direction then debating what he may or may not have done in 1985.
All female staff. What a great guy..
"A top professor at Yale Law School who strongly endorsed supreme court nominee Brett Kavanaugh as a “mentor to women” privately told a group of law students last year that it was “not an accident” that Kavanaugh’s female law clerks all “looked like models” and would provide advice to students about their physical appearance if they wanted to work for him, the Guardian has learned.
Amy Chua, a Yale professor who wrote a bestselling book on parenting called Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother, was known for instructing female law students who were preparing for interviews with Kavanaugh on ways they could dress to exude a “model-like” femininity to help them win a post in Kavanaugh’s chambers, according to sources."

Nothing sexist about that at all. /s
He has multiple credible accusations against him with corroboration
Not easy to convict one of the most powerful people in the world especially when hundreds of other powerful people are running blatant cover for him and millions of Americans willingly look the other way so much that the powerful people don't even have to pretend they aren't running cover. They can just say things like "okay we will have the FBI investigate but we're only going to give them seven days" and a person like yourself will say "seems legit."Then I think these alleged "legions" should go forth and convict the Judge and place him in a jail cell where you think he belongs.

Pathetic. Then I think these alleged "legions" should go forth and convict the Judge and place him in a jail cell where you think he belongs.

I never saw anything during the investigation that I considered remotely supported as true.

That’s not what’s driving the recent wave of calls for impeachmentIf you believe this then you also must recognized he purjored himself badly.
It's funny to read replies like this from people who don't even bother to look into the claims before dismissing them. They were never going to believe them so why risk exposing yourself to additional information that might cause your ego to trigger some professional level mental gymnastics to protect itself.
Well, luckily for you, I did spend 60 to 120 seconds reading a single article detailing what has been found and I'm going to share it with you right here while quoting you to make it that much harder to ignore.
This isn't a case of people throwing shit against the wall. This was actual journalists doing the job that Trump's DOJ ordered the FBI not to do during that pathetic excuse for an investigation. Something like 7 people were found that had heard about these incidents back when they happened. Most of these people contacted the FBI during that investigation window telling them that they could provide information but the FBI never got back to them. Never followed up. Kind of hard to follow up when your investigation is artificially limited to seven days for no good reason.
But suckers like you will slurp it down. FBI investigated and found nothing so good old boy Kavanaugh is cleared and everything from here on out is sour grapes from Democrats. The saddest part is that if Democrats tried anything one tenth so shady you would sniff it out like a goddamned blood hound and connect dots that weren't even there except on a Russian generated blog page.
So go ahead and ignore this post and continue to believe that Democrats are able to assemble legions of people willing to testify against some of the most powerful people in the solar system, open themselves and their families up to scrutiny from legions of robots just like you itching to catch another filthy liberal in a half-truth about an unrelated subject that thereby disproves anything they say from now until eternity, and then deal with death threats for the rest of their lives. Yup, legions of these Democrats willing to go through all that just because they don't like the result of an election. Never mind that when you diseased muppets try to manufacture a similar slime attack against a Democrat just to prove how easy it is, the charade falls apart before Jacob Wohl can yell "what happened?!" over the sound of a garbage truck driving through the background of his "press conference. "
That’s not what’s driving the recent wave of calls for impeachment
The barrel has yet to be opened and here you are claiming we've already emptied it. Kavanaugh's history is still being hidden by the Republicans. What little we know of him, clearly demonstrates an unfitness for the court.
He has multiple credible accusations against him with corroboration, and I'm sure we don't have all of it as it was blatantly obvious the FBI "check" was a sham.
You also conveniently leave out his blatant perjuries.
While Republicans snubbing Obama's pick was bad, I believe the Kavanaugh issue is worse, since that goes into the territory of lawbreaking. They basically said it doesn't matter if felons control and interpret how the government runs.
What does what is driving the recent wave of calls for impeachment have to do with the fact that if you believe what you stated it can only mean that you recognize he perjured himself. And I have to guess that you avoided that admission because it would mean you don't care we have a person who badly committed perjurer as a Supreme Court Justice. That’s not what’s driving the recent wave of calls for impeachment
I didn’t support Kavanaugh because of the perjury allegations, but then the hearings became the Avenatti circus.Smooth. It just be nice to have a conscience limited to what's immediately in front of you.
His tenure under the Bush Adminstration certainly deserves a great deal of scrutiny, not what he wrote in his yearbook or conflicting accounts of how he behaved when drunk. What does what is driving the recent wave of calls for impeachment have to do with the fact that if you believe what you stated it can only mean that you recognize he perjured himself. I suppose everybody would do that under the circumstances, right? I mean, can we really hold serial rapists to blame because they probably didn't have very nurturing parents? It's not their fault. But even if it isn't do we want people like that on the court, people who deny what is likely in their real past? What about the issue of people having trust in the court. Long gone, I know, the Republicans took care of that.
The problem is they are looking for a reason to pack. They don't need one. Just like GOP didn't a need one to block Garland. They did it because they could.Has anyone heard from Susan Collins?
It gives all the more reason to pack. We know the Republicans won't impeach, so lets make his vote irrelevant. 'Course, it could be as you say. Look at Holder suggesting that we shouldn't prosecute Trump. That's insane.
Considering republicans deny verifiable facts as well, I really don't see the point in referencing what they believe.Let's check the Republican's take on these college accusations.
Considering he was being accused of sexual assault during his younger years by multiple credible sources, it would seem to me that what he wrote in his yearbook and how he behaved when drunk at the time is highly relevant, particularly considering he already lied under oath about his drinking habits from the time. His tenure under the Bush Adminstration certainly deserves a great deal of scrutiny, not what he wrote in his yearbook or conflicting accounts of how he behaved when drunk.

Had I discovered what I should have known, that I fucked up another person's life because of my own drunken lusts, I would hope I'd have the courage to abandon success that might lay before me to atone at least in part for my sins. I would also want to say I am sorry.Kavanaugh categorically denied being a Bro. Despite all evidence to the contrary. Along with his own outrage and his own "I LIKE BEER!!!" moment. The college allegations are stupid but him claiming to be a perfect little angel is, itself, perjury. He refused to own up to his own flawed character, to show the least bit of honesty or humility. Kavanaugh deserves disbarment for his own conduct at the hearing.
