Dunno, seemed pretty funny to me. Then again, I don't take comedy cartoons as seriously as you apparently do.

They make lots of jokes about all kinds of beliefs / followings / races / etc... nothing new. I would have expected this more when Brian was licking Stewie's ass.

very poor taste. those are real men who died, The wall or their memory is not some fucking joke for Seth McFarland to make fun of for the shock factor and ratings. i hope his ratings go down the toilet and his stupid ass show gets canceled again.

From the description in that article, it doesn't sound all that funny (except for maybe the scoreboard quip) but I'm hardly offended.

All they did was make light of Americans dying. Everybody knows the real issue that needs to be addressed with cartoons is when they show Muhammad in a bear suit.

Actually I generally like Family Guy, but the new ones seem to be a bit too political for me.

but i thought it was ok to make fun of muhammed due to freedom of speech, yet this crosses the line? qq more.

Can anyone provide cliffs for those that don't want to click on the link from work?

Here’s what happens: On a search to find the source of all dirty jokes (which eventually leads them to Virginia) Peter, Quagmire, and Joe pass through Washington, DC where they see the Washington Monument, the Obama Monument (it’s black) and the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. This is the part that is going to ruffle some feathers. Standing in front of the Memorial are two Vietnam Vets and a Vietnamese man who calls the Memorial a “scoreboard” and says “aw, what happened to your friends? Hey I know that guy, I killed him, he cried like a bitch. Vietnam! Undefeated!”

quagmire/peter/bad legs dude are driving in washington dc. they see landmarks
-washington monument
-obama monument ( like washington but big & black :awe: ) i thought this was funnier
-vietnam memorial w/ 2 vets and a vietnamese dude. vietnamese dude says it's a scoreboard and he killed that guy and he cried like a bitch

i didn't think it was offensive, just lame. take the interesting commentary out of south park and you get family guy

It seems like run-of-the-mill Family Guy humor to me. If anything, it should offend Vietnamese Americans for being made to look like heartless jerks.

When you see Americans out in the streets rioting and killing people over this then get back to me with the Mohammed bullshit. Otherwise get a clue that expressing disapproval over a cartoon, boycotting a network that runs a cartoon, or writing articles about a cartoon are entirely different than issuing death threats and actually killing people over a cartoon.

Pretty funny esp the oboma monument. As for the OP crying like a fucking baby about how far this show has gone, well, what would you rather give up your freedom of speech like the dudes fought for on the wall, or continue to give them away and vote your buddy Palin (bush wanna be) back in?????

Sad part the damn wall was built from SS tax money (slush fund). Oh well. Can't have your cake and eat it too I guess. Deal with it and move on.

Tho I'm not a fan of the far guy so... I guess this is coming from a independent view.

So true.

Notice also that offended patriots and vets (but I repeat myself) are NOT calling for Seth McFarlane to be murdered.

Actually I will go with the crowd and say funny not found. Essentially you've got two old vets staring at the monument with names of people who fought and died alongside them and a Vietnamese guy making fun of them and calling it a score board. I'm trying to think how it would be with another context.

Let's bust out a Nazi comparison. If it was two old German vets looking at a monument and an American doing the same thing who would laugh at that? I actually think I still wouldn't laugh. Even if I would, though, this show is targeted at a mainly American audience so I have to conclude the joke was a detraction.

Maybe next week Family Guy can make a joke about the people hanging out of the windows on September 11th and then jumping.
