I chuckled. It's Family Guy. Although I imagine it would be pretty gruesome if some ex-Vietcong pulled that in real life. (think EBM on crack)
hi hypocrite.
freedom of speech. learn it. funny how you think it's ok to bash something sacred to the muslim world, yet when it comes to america, it's completely off limits. hypocrite.
next.
Huh?
Who is saying that the government should make what Family Guy did illegal?
I suspect a literal interpretation would be incorrect ...
and that Charlie at the Memorial is a loose, random juxtaposition of the US WoT, and the occasional repugnant interactions we achieve with various cultures from around the world.
But WTF do I know? I'm just a redneck hillbilly from suthern Apple-Latch-E-Uh.

You know, we should make a stand against this sort of humor! From now on I'm boycotting fox because of this! No More Fox News for me!

This. The segment itself was stupid and not really funny. It doesn't even make sense when he says "Vietnam undefeated" since the Vietnam War was a civil war. South Vietnam lost the war against North Vietnam. The reason USA and Canada have so many Vietnamese immigrants is because their side of the country lost the war.The funniest part about this is the people butthurt over it.
But it's perfectly ok when Americans go to Muslims and say "LOL SCOREBOARD" over things like Iraq, right? How many times have we seen that shit against Germans? WE PWNED YOU GUYS IN WW2 LOLOLOL. Now you know how others feel when you say that kind of shit against them.here is one for you, how about if the two guys were at the world trade center memorial and a muslim said "LOL its a scoreboard" wouldnt you find that tasteless and offensive? cartoon or not making jokes about that shit is just wrong.

Freedom of speech will win. It's ok to be offended, but anyone trying to take Family Guy off the air because they are offended should be killed.

We have enough TV shows and movies and video games that make light of killing Germans. American soldiers are not immune to that same kind of insensitive and rude criticism. Freedom of speech sure is a bitch ain't it.
That's the image Fox News likes to show, but it's far from the reality of it.What? Why would we say "scoreboard" to the Iraqis? We're not over there killing them en masse in a real war
Review of the game Wolfenstein:People make fun of the French, but I hardly ever hear anyone make fun of the Germans.
The intriguing thing to me about this seemingly well timed reminder of who really deserves to “get it,” though, is in the distinct difference between what a film can provide in considering this experience and what a game provides, which might tell us a little something about how we see ourselves ethically as players of games as opposed to viewers of movies. As noted, Tarantino’s Nazi slaughter is voyeuristic in nature, but id’s is participatory; Tarantino’s is about witnessing the termination of the “master race,” while id offers the opportunity to take a hand in this extermination.
butthurt over making fun or making light of the deaths of thousands of dead americans?

What the hell does "go too far" even MEAN? It seems like a generic, meaningless phrase people use when they want to make something sound more important than "I was offended, and you should all care deeply about that fact". But honestly, in the context of something that we would have to elect to watch, something that's known to be offensive to everyone, what does the phrase really mean?
English
