Did Atari not learn anything from EA and 3 activation limits?!

Apparently, this is now cracked.
How many sales were lost as a result of the DRM?
How many pirates will now enjoy the game without DRM?

I'm just glad the used copy I acquired is now guaranteed to work into perpetuity.

Why would you acquire a used copy of a game that limits the number of times you can install it? especially because you seem interested for it to "work into perpetuity"?

Because history has shown that popular games inevitably get cracked and buying a used copy prevents ATARI from receiving any profit from the sale of the game. Not to mention I really wanted to play this game and I do not support piracy. I will either play a used copy or do without in the case of Steam only games.

Proof positive I own Riddick.

I wasn't accusing you of piracy, I'm anti-Atari and anti-DRM myself, which is why I'll never play this game, too many out there to try out without having to jump through that many hoops.

It's a shame about this drm. I recently saw the ad for this in pcgamer and it mentions coming with a copy of one of the previous games which for me would be a plus, but ain't gonna touch it till their has been some permanent drm reversal.
