Well consider this friends...
So you enjoy paying for DHL workers health care??? Like wal-mart, DHL does an even better job at passing "their" health care cost onto YOU. DHL, no benefits, no insurance, min wage. So who do you think pays when a DHL worker is hurt or their family needs a doc, the tooth fairy? Its you. Apparently you enjoy this practice? And when your company comes to you and says, "hey guy, we're dropping your company insurance. Too costly". Guess you?ll just say, ?wow, I?m all for that!?.

I'd bet most of you anti union and DHL pro folk currently have company insurance AND make more than min wage AND have job security. Are you in danger of being laid off at a whim? Bet not... But then again, look behind you, your own company may use these practices in the near future. Good luck!
GO DHL!!!!! YAY!!!!!!

i think i'll ship something to myself today.

Walmart is the perfect example of what happens when unions gain no control. Nuff said.

fixed

Of course, because we all know the workers at Walmart are slaves and have no control or choice where they work.

Unions on the other hand try to force a company's hand and squeeze out as much as possible till the company is hurting. So who really is worse?

Better that the CEO's do it.

After having to deal with DHL when they were still Airborne Express I never want anything shipped through them again.
They are FAR worse than UPS could ever think of being.

Deutsche Post bought out Airborne and rolled it into DHL.

Thanks for the heads up. Unions are generally a good thing.

I will avoid DHL.

Actually I use UPS whenever possible. They are the best.

I still have yet to figure out what the beef agaist walmart is.

Lets look at the FACTS

1. Walmart HIRES and TRAINS MINIMALLY SKILLED people.
2. Walmart on AVERAGE pays More than the other employers in that field.
3. Walmart Offers HEALTH CARE to ANY employee who works FULL TIME.

I don't understand where it was decided that should you make bad choices and START A FAMILY before you can afford it that I should pick up the tab.

These are typically LOW SKILL JOBS that pay LOW WAGES as they should the bottom line is that Walmart is not dealing with a staffing problem. They have plenty of people wanting to work there.

When my wife went to work for walmart was offered the health plan and opted to decline (i Provide through my job) and when I lost my Job we looked at the walmart health coverage again and it was CHEAPER than going through BCBS. Luckly I had a job in a week so it was not an issue.

I think that people should pay what it cost to get people and provide them benifits as if effects their staffing. AGAIN I WANT TO STRESS THESE ARE LOW SKILL JOBS

What is next becuae Walmart typically employs the uneducated they are required to send the workers to college. Your skills will determain if you get benifits and also what people with comparible skills are making. I always laugh when people say you should get $XX for said job. No you should get what someone is willing to pay and you are willing to accept. If you really think that you are worth $100K and no one is willing to pay you that then you are not
