Wow so you not only compared an AIB 480 with an FE 1060 but also used the highest number you could find among all the different settings used and just throw out a blanket statement like that?RX480 also beats its direct GTX1060 competitor by 24%.

24% difference in ultra settings drops down to 15% in very high where the game actually seems more playable so why is ultra number more important?
Then how about we compare AIB cards like how it should be?

8% faster at 1080p and 9% faster at 1440p. Max OC vs max OC I believe both would be equal. So no as it turns out there is no difference between the 2 cards at settings people would actually play the game at. Stop spreading grossly exaggerated conclusions.
Also, important fact. PClamb is not covering this game, just like they skipped Doom Vulkan patch, and other amd favoring games. For obvious reasons.
Usually they cover games day before release or amd optimized drivers, whichever comes first![]()
Not with an FPS game sorry. I would never play an FPS game at ultra settings if I am not getting 60FPS.http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/graphics/2016/08/23/deus-ex-mankind-divided-benchmarked/3
34fps minimum and 46fps average for Ultra settings its more than fine to play the game, and it really shows that the RX 480 is faster at Higher Image Quality than GTX 1060.

It does not mean anything all it means is that some particular settings are playing better with AMD cards(hairworks anyone?). The performance difference between the 2 cards remains flat on all resolutions including 4K which wouldn't be the case if what you are saying is correct.
Judging by the screenshots above, I don't think the game looks that great considering it's system requirements. Maybe the tessellation on the cobblestone road and the lighting, but that's about it...
Poking around Prague, this time with Textures on Ultra, the rest on the Very High preset, near 7GB(!) vRAM, 60FPS is easily attainable:

The link I provided has the following settings which allows both 480 and 1060 to hit 60FPS at 1080p.
Ultra preset except CHS (disabled) and AO (temporal component disabled) + 16: 1 AF
At these settings the performance is better for both cards than at only high settings in the bit-tech review. It's obvious some settings are murdering performance and neither card is good enough for such luxury in this game.
Ok, if those settings doesnt increase Image Quality a lot (I dont currently have the game so i cant say first hand), then i will agree that disabling them will increase performance without sacrificing Image Quality that much. But again it seems that RX 480 is still faster (granted not more than 10%) and that is not even DX-12 .

Been messing around in Prague a bit, and this is the first place you encounter that gives you a real feel for the technical capabilities and performance of the engine. So far I've been holding 60 FPS fairly easily with some very minor dips every now and then, at 1440p everything maxed out except MSAA and CHS which are turned off, and triple buffering enabled. Game seems to use the CPU decently, but the scaling isn't as good as what I thought it would be. My CPU was still down clocking during gameplay with the Windows performance profile on balanced, which was causing some hitching and stuttering. Setting it to performance fixed that for me. So yeah, DX12 with it's much better parallel rendering would be a big plus for this game for certain. VRAM usage is exceptionally high (above 7GB), and so is RAM usage (over 9GB). But of course most of the VRAM usage is from caching textures so that's fine I think.
Things I really like about the graphics are the screen space reflections which are detailed and have high resolution, and they also have a contact hardening effect applied as well. Also, the cloth physics setting is definitely noticeable. You can see the more realistic cloth movement, even on NPCs. The temporal AA is also very good, and gets rid of the vast majority of aliasing and shimmering. MSAA definitely isn't being missed at all here..

Game definitely looks amazing, from my experience definitely one of those that actual gameplay looks even better than screenshots.
