It's an option in Windows XP and 2k. Window Shadows, pretty cool, gets boring after a while.

Please tell me where that option is? I know menu shadows are an option in Windows XP, but they are not in Windows 2000, and neither OS has additional support for transparency. You must add a separate program for any extra shadows or menu translucency, afaik.

...which I just found out about the other day. Uses practically no system resources, and looks cool. ObjectDock was ok, but it got in the habit of pegging the CPU utilization at 100% after a few hours of use, and that's just not kosher with me since I want Folding@Home to have all of my spare CPU cycles. Y'z Dock was simply confusing, ergo, it sucks. ;)

Anyway, now that I've installed Windows XP with my Epox 8RDA and Athlon XP 1700+ (overclocked to 1.67GHz, or 2000+), I have a new, slightly "eliter" screenshot to show off.

Retaining functionality while having good form :p

It's the "EclipseOSX" scheme from the "Community" theme that comes with StyleXP. I tried an OS X theme from ThemeXP, but it had some rough edges (no pun intended), and just didn't seem as polished in general as this one. I also prefer to have a real "Start" button, not an Apple logo, so that was another strike against the OS X theme from ThemeXP, and a plus for the StyleXP one. :)

Where LSH and Console are from. There are a couple better than LSH, but LSH is free. LSH lets' me screw up and use ls in a normal DOS prompt :), basically. Console doesn't, but it looks cool.
LSXCommand is a sinlge line command line module for litestep. Everything from using it as a run box, searching the net, using it as a calculator, showing the current song playing, and some stuff I never have used.
