Derek Jeter jost got pegged in the helmet by a pitch by Timlin. Looked like it hit the visor of the helmet... giggled at first, then started to worry... then got pissed when all those dumb Yankee fans started chanting "asshole" and other swears. Eh... Jeter is a trooper, but he should be ok... just glad it didn't hit 'em in the face.
 
So far hit by pitch count:

Red sox 5. Yankees 0. I guess winning a world series doesn't automatically give you class.
 
On better review by ESPN, looks like he got pegged in the arm. Real weird... I paused and replayed it in slow motion and it looked like he got hit in the helmet with the original angle. And the fact that the commentators were all yelling that he got hit in the dome.

they just showed the replay - helmets don't go flying away like that after getting hit in the arm.
 
So weird... from one angle he looks like he got hit in the helmet... and from another angle it looks like he gets hit right in the arm. So weird...
 
Yeah, now matter how much I hate somebody... and I absoloutely hate the Yankees... you don't wish an injury like that upon somebody.
