Looks like the Democrats are pretty much screwed in 2012, much in the same way the Republicans were screwed in 2004. You have to either vote for the Republican candidate (LOL), or Obama.

Don't worry if it's all too confusing. Like I said, the Republicans were in a similar situation in 2004, having to choose between their own liar and a Democrat. So my advice is just do what they did. It's tried and true. Stick with your guy, don't switch over. And if you feel sick to your stomach on your way to the polls, just try your absolute best to forget everything bad about Obama. Just forget it, put it all out of your mind. It's kinda like going to a concert that your wife or girlfriend wants to go to and you get dragged along. Some heavy beer drinking, maybe some pot, and you'll get through it. You'll be fine.

At this point I think the Democrat's only hope of holding the Presidency is if the Republicans are retarded and nominate Palin.

Come on, Shiner, you're not getting it. It doesn't matter who the Republicans nominate. Dem's should hold their nose and stick with Obama. You more than anyone else knows what I'm talking about. Didn't your wife drag you to a Kenny Chesney concert late last year?

Good, so you now recognize that the Daily Show is not just "liberal" and actually goes after anyone hypocritical. Great! About time!

The comparison is valid, but not quite accurate. Obama has been a disappointment, but he hasn't been a disaster.

Íf it comes down to Obama vs Palin/Gingrich/Huckabee the choice is still easy, if the Republicans come up with a better candidate though ...

In any case I think the Republicans will be Obamas best friends in this, they will run hard right in the primaries to get the teaparty vote, and in the process they will scare away all the independents.

That's up for debate. I think he has.

Indeed, the choice is easy -- get Obummer out.

Bush got re-elected. That proves that ANYTHING can happen.

Exactly, now you're getting it. This is the same thing the Republicans said about Bush in 2004. Nice job, you're doing great. Watch out though, if more "disappointment" starts gathering storm, just sit tight. Maybe turn off the TV, put the newspapers down. Stay out of P&N, post more in OT, or even L&R, that's a great little forum. Hell, close your eyes and stick your fingers in your ears if you have to. Whatever it takes, dude.

Got some news for you: I didn't vote for Obama, so you can take you condescension elsewhere.

I can list quite a few things I don't like about Obama, just saying the list is quite a lot longer for Bush.

I dont think so. Honestly, James Carville never uttered more intelligent words than when he said "Its the economy stupid". By 2012 the economy could look completely different than it does today. And when it gets better so does Obama's numbers.

EXACTLY! And we can do it again, people. Yes we can!

And probably will. Bush had 9/11 as his big chance to go down in the history books as a great President. Obama has this oil spill as his chance. The Dems will do all they can to capitalize on it, so stay tuned to this channel folks. Who cares about all our other problems??

Damn, even some Huffington Post posters are fed up with Obama

"With this President, I do believe my disillusionment is now complete. I seriously question, more than I ever have before, what the point is of voting for anything more broadly than local. grassroots issues. The fix is in, and whether we want to believe it or not, nobody is going to be successful bucking this system. There is too much money, too many interests, too much greed. If you're not already bought and paid for, you don't get to actually DO anything in politics other than what the money wants you to do. Anything outside that scope is verboten. How depressing. "

Keith Olberman is lashing out against Obama

Chris Matthews is lashing out against Obama

Jon Stewart is lashing out against Obama

Huffington Post crowd is lashing out against Obama

Never thought I'd see the day

I think it's healthy to see all this criticism of Obama from the left. Maybe now the mainstream media will eventually catch on to the fact that Obama isn't actually that leftwing, he's more of a moderate (or bluedog democrat as its called for some reason).

He needs to grow some thicker skin and maybe hire Bush to teach him how to take criticism, because things are going to get ugly

I wouldn't call him much of a moderate though.

Why not ?

The reason he's getting all this heat from the left is that he's consistently siding with the moderate democrats over the progressives.

Incorrect.

He is siding with the "progressives" while ignoring the ultra retarded.
Considering this country is inherently conservative Obama isn't even in the same ballpark as most Americans.

Progressives -------Obama---Blue dog Dems---Country---Moderate Republicans-------Neocons---Tea Party

And I submit the true moderates are the ones in the middle; the country. Not Obama.
