Interesting how the 2001FP is more expensive. I wish I could get one for $350 or so.

ACK so tempting.... I don't know what to do lol should I jump on it? Or wait for it to drop some more? I heard that the 2001 is better for gaming?

The screen for the 2005fpw is made my a different company (Phillips?) and has better features than the 2001fp. Ghosting is a little more apparent with the 2001fp from what I've read and the screen is dimmer. In the ned that's what made me go with the 2005fpw over the 2001fp, even though the 2001fp has more real estate.

I thought companies are not allowed to sale returned items at regular price, thats why they sell them lower as "refurbished".
Would a 6600GT be enough to power the latest games at the native resolution of the 2005? Taxing wise is the 1650x1050 more like 1600x1200 or 1280x1024? Thanks.

I bought one last time @ ~450 with taxes. Had it exchanged three times only to get a perfect one. I posted this in the other 2005FPW forum: the third one was Rev A02 @ July 2005. Since these are @ ~#390, my assumption is a lot of you are going to receive monitors that have been returned by previous customers. Keep an eye out for the latest build and backlight bleeding. I also noticed that the prints on the wires of my 2005FPW (July 2005) are more finer and professional compared to the previous two that I returned.
Hope this helps the new 2005FPW owners. If you can get your hands on the perfect build, you can't go wrong!
