just picked this up with a Belkin surge protector for $276 shipped to CA....thanks great find and now I have my 3rd and final LCD Just got confirmation that this unit will ship Aug 1

No you buy two of these for either side and buy a real monitor like a Diamondpro 2070 for gaming.😉

is this thing really as bad for gaming as everyone is saying? I just got the 17", but at this price it's hard to pass up.

i also feel bad for all those people on ebay that are currently paying 300+ bucks for these

Awesome monitor. I've been so tempted to pick up this or the 2005FPW or whatever it is thats going for as low as $389. Although the LCD may be better on the eyes, won't cave in a desk (gd 19" CRT caves ANY desk it sits on 😀)), and thus will save a lot of deskspace, I have a hard time replacing a perfectly good monitor (Samsung 900NF). Plus I thought the response time was lower than 20ms. It must be just as good as games as this monitor is to replace it. And this CRT can do 1600x1200@85hz, or even higher at 60hz.

Read the review.. I serverly biased against all LCD for FPS games...

Never feel sorry for people on eBay. In fact there are millions more who buy their LCDs at B&Ms like Circuit City, Best Buy, and CompUSA who pay a lot more than just the eBay price. What someone doesn't know about won't hurt them.

And yes, this monitor is not recommended for FPS. Anand's review is wrong. Myself and others have confirmed this monitor ghosts. Get a 2005FPW if you want to game (even a E193FP will game better).
 
I will throw in my experience as well. It ghosts pretty badly, which is why I returned mine and why I won't be biting on this deal.

i have orderd 1905fp for 329 last friday and i found the deal for 2005FPW on saturday and order it for 420$ . but i havent received neither of those. so i will just refuse the delivery and got this one. THANKS OP!

ok when dell says estimated shipment on monday, does that usually go through or is just that their computer giving a very loose estimate?
