I'm looking forward to this one as well, Defense Grid is a good game. I still play it. Best tower defense game out there in my view.

Along with Defense Grid and the Portal series, I'm really liking the pull away from war porn and glorification of modern war. The futuristic/robot theme is appreciated by me.

Same here, I haven't played a game so much in a long time. Have you tried the expansion levels? some are very difficult.. and I loved the ones with the Portal AI!

Seems like I've been waiting a long time for DG2. I was in top 100 for DG games played but I cooled off for a year or so.

Unfortunately not but I expect it to be released sometime in the 2nd half of the year from what i've been reading.

I hope they make it a bit more gritty looking. That latest video made everything look cartoony, like a WoW universe vs Skyrim.

I hope so too but i'm not sure they will change the art style at this point. I think it's not bad though.. but I want to see more screenshots etc, before really deciding how I like the artwork.

Loved DG1, still play it, it's good for a casual break while listening to music or something.

Looks like they're going to change the resource system a lot. Not too worried about the art it's a secondary thing for me.

Couldn't help myself, had to preorder. DG was the game that introduced me to tower defense and nothing else has eclipsed it in that genre.
