Deep Impact vs Armageddon

Which did you guys like best? Funny how two movies with basically the same plot came out months apart.
 
I saw bits and pieces of Deep Impact, but from what I saw, there were huge tidal waves, which forced humanity to go the highest peaks in order to survive it. So now millions of people are going to live on mountain ranges until the water recedes?:roll:

Armageddon FTW.
 
Armageddon is the only movie I wanted to walk out on in theater. I only stayed because my brother liked it and was my ride home. I gave serious consideration to the 4 mile walk home, though.
 
Armageddon!! Deep impact was so annoying. First, I hate the kid. Second, it didn't have a kick ass Aerosmith song to back it up. Third, as much as I love Tea Leoni, she might as well have worn a paper bag cause she had a sad panda look throughout the whole movie.

Deep Impact tried to be a serious movie, but didn't quite succeed for me.

Armageddon tried for dumb popcorn movie fun, and delivered.

Armageddon is on my list of one of the worst movies i've even seen, so i voted for Deep Impact. It wasn't that great either though.
 
Any movie where Bruce Willis dies and Ben Affleck (sp?) lives is an instant piece of crap. That said, they both sucked.
 
Ahh come on!!! Deep Impact FTW! Morgan Freeman, Frodo (and he actually had some rings in this movie too ++), not to mention the hcick who got knocked up....

And for those who didnt watch the movie (the above posters), the waters receded back into the ocean after the tidal wave went all the way to Iowa or some such state. The one part that was really ridiculas was when they found a hill in Virginia that was tall enough to break a wave that went all the way to Iowa... WTF?

Deep Impact was awesome and you all suck.

Finally! Someone agree with me. Its not so much the kid, cause it was Elijah woods, but the fact that the character is some genius kid who saves her "wife" in the end. So retarded.

Now the 6th sense... I hate it cause I hate the actor kid.

Armageddon - right, the government has secret shuttle prototypes that can automatically detect and evade space debris in realtime? They hardly even want to spend the money to just LOOK for asteroids or comets that might pose a threat, and our missile defense system has trouble tracking low-speed targets whose location is precisely known.

Someone explain me the role of that "nerd" guy in Armageddon ? I mean all he did was talk talk talk....and, just point out that they landed at the wrong space but other than that, he did nothing, right ?
