Just wouldn't be a Deeko prediction thread without Buffalo in last place.

Are you channeling your inner Tom Coughlin? :p

Remember 5 or so years ago when the NYG played played 2 games in Seattle, one in the post season? Remember all of those false starts due to the noise, and Coughlin (or one of the players) speculating about artificial noise? Anyway, IIRC this issue was put to rest back then, someone somehow proved the noise was legit. Of course things change under new coaches, and I wouldn't put anything past an NFL org.

FWIW, the few games I have been to seemed legit, I never really thought to study the noise during a game admittedly. Now you have me curious to go to a game and check this out. :hmmm:

Yea, I know its been challenged and "upheld" however that process works. I went to, ironically enough, a Seahawks/Giants game two years ago at Qwest Field. Being a Cowboys fan, I was naturally rooting against the Giants...and looking around the stands (I was in the upper section, which in my experience is usually the rowdiest fans), I was about the only person cheering. It didn't help that the Giants thrashed the Seahawks 41-7, but despite that, the stadium was still VERY loud till the final snap.

I'm generally not one for conspiracy theories....but that definitely had me a bit skeptical.

I posted this picture from my phone at the game with the caption "The REAL 12th man":

Giants and Steelers defense are gonna crush the cowboys o-line and Romo (assuming he is even still healthy at this point) will be running for his life...Redskins always play the cowgirls tough at home...

I hate to do it....I really do....nah I won't.

Just how loud was it compared to other stadiums you've been to?

I've been to both Veterans Stadium and Lincoln Financial in Philly, and the Cowboys new stadium in Dallas. Of the four, Seattle's is certainly the loudest - but if you look around the stands, the fans are doing the least cheering.

And as a side rant, it irritates me that Seattle has this "12th man" reputation. Gives people the impression that the fans here don't suck. Look, even if they aren't pumping sound in, they've said the stadium was designed acoustically to be loud. It has nothing to do with the fans. Seattle sports fans are some of the worst in the country - they just don't care, they have no passion at all. Go to a sports bar downtown after week 3 and Seahawk fans will be outnumbered by other teams 10 to 1.

go ahead...me and a countless others, including the so called 'experts' got this one wrong...

Hey, I'm not one to rub losses in people's faces about picks. The NFL is very unpredictable. We all make good picks, and bad picks. Its when people get uppity about their disagreements that they need a gentle reminder after the fact ;)

Deeko and i were there during a 42-7 giants blow out a few years ago. By third quarter 50% of the seats were empty, yet the sound was just as intense. I don't have any direct proof, but that certainly raised some suspicions.

LOL! That's such bullshit. I hate Seattle and their fake sound. Also, didn't something similar happen to the Colts I think in their stadium a few years ago? They were pumping sound and there was an error and it kept skipping. They blamed it on the broadcast, but nobody believes that crap either.
