OT is fine. People need a place to have fun and blow off steam or it leaks into the other forums.
Some people are just too sensitive and don't belong in OT. Disney probably has forums.

I'm in, I like the concept, but I'll reserve judgment on how effective it is for at least a few months to give it time to become more fully realized. I also haven't had the time to read through and respond to well thought out responses. It's definitely a step up from the P&N of the past few years.

It's not about seeking the highest form of debate. It's about discussing anything without reading that Bush/Obama suck on butts and are Nazis.

Personally, I don't hold out much hope for "Debate Club" to actually generate much in the way of intelligent debate...with posters on both sides of an issue, actively defending their POV...and remaining the "non-confrontational" place that folks seem to be hoping for...but I HOPE I'm wrong.

Yes, you have the power to do so but the collective mod/admin staff constantly allow known, shitty trolls to thrive in OT. I really don't understand that mentality, I'm not singling you out, but you have the power to fix it. There are easily 10 posters I can think of off the top of my head who do nothing but troll the same shitty topics over and over again. Hell, threads I've purposefully derailed have literally been cleaned up by mod staff to allow the troll thread to continue.

It gets old when every other person in OT is a gimmick account or troll poster, what is the stance on this? If you are making a post illustrating the complete shitshow this forum has become how can we move forward with fixing it?

The Bathroom is not as nice as the Lifer bathroom, but the Beer is sameish. The Babes are better than the No Lifer Babes though. Get in if you can, cause it's worth it.

That couldn't have been done without creating a walled garden? You could have improved P&N immensely by implementing some of the rules you made for your exclusive club, especially the suppression of ad hominem attacks that are the hallmark of P&N.
