The political leadership that will be voting on his confirmation don’t care what happened. If he sexually assaulted someone then no I don’t think he belongs on the court, but an accusation shouldn’t be the end all which is becoming the norm. What we saw today was calculated political theatre as both parties wrestle for control of the seat.
