Anyone have an account and 1- didnt get the download started in time or 2- arent going to use your account? My brother downloaded the software through the above link but cant get in to setup an account...
 
Got registered for Wow but download from Wow was too slow so I stopped it and switched to Fileplanet for download.

this morning I find the client 2.5gb fully downloaded from Fileplanet but thezip file was corrupted! growl 🙁

And now the Wow site is closed for me to try to download the client again fromthem.

I am screwed or should I give fileplanet another try tonight?
 
Someone want to post a decent place to d/l the client from? I just can't seem to get it from anywhere.
 
Try fileplanet, I got it from them. I waited in line for 84 mins before I started d/ling it, then it took 3 hours. Wicked fast for this file.
 
Yeah totally lame it took me an entire day to download their darn 2GB installer just to find out I could have created an account earlier from their website........ by the time the download finished the signups were closed.
 
I didn't find out about this until too late yesterday. Should have downloaded it when I first heard people talking about it.

i'm pretty upset about this as well. i spent close to three days downloading the damn thing, only to find out i could not sign up to play it.

what a HUGE waste of time, energy and bandwidth

and for what?

absolutely nothing

i'm pretty upset about this as well. i spent close to three days downloading the damn thing, only to find out i could not sign up to play it.

Nevermind, I found it on FP. They pulled it for a while and put it back, so I'm getting it at 378KB/sec.:Q

BTW, they are offering accounts again.

what are the authentication keys? Last time they had it listed.. here they dont.
 
can someone tell me what's so fun about this game? i tried gettin into it after an hour and then started killin stuff for another hour to get my level up then got bored and quit

Try some quests (speak to npc's with !'s above their head), make some friends.
