I am pretty sure that AT was the first to show this deal. Right after I saw this here and placed my order I started looking around at other deal sites (FW, Techbargains, SlickDeals, etc) and found nothing. It actually took awhile for it to spread from here...

I wish I could check my email... But it says that my order is being InProcessing on dell's site. I knew I shouldn't have added the 300W wireless FM thingy to my order (as it had a 3-5 day expected delivery date i.e. they didn't have any in stock).

Which is a very good thing if you think about it. Especially on deals which you feel there will be a limited chance of getting in on. I am still kicking myself for not jumping on the 200gig hard drive deal, but I already have over 1/2 a terabyte of free disk space... (you can never have too much disk space).

DANG

My two orders are still in processing.

24 hours later and still no cancelation.

Should sue dell for undue pain and suffering just for not canceling these orders in a timely manner.

What a riot: 1/2 of us should sue for canceling the order. And the other half should sue for NOT canceling the order as soon as they knew it was an error. (what time was it taken off the web site?).

only have 21 gigs left of my 480 gigs.

Anyone else here get a email saying their credit card was declined? What's the furthest "stage" anyone's order is in. I got 1 in order processing and one in in production, but I receive 2 emails saying CC was declined (one for each).

Got in late on this deal as I mostly only read FW while at work. dangnabit

I didn't post it anywhere else.

How did you get free shipping?

Called them and told them I wanted to lower my shipping from overnight to ground. She got confused and told me that she'll just give me free overnight shipping to make up for it.

Yeah, if no one had called Dell, I am sure that they wouldn't have noticed the extra 50,000 orders for this device.

Get a clue guys. Even companies as big as Dell notice abberations that large.

And as far as I can tell, the device was NEVER available for immediate delivery...Delivery was always listed as several days out. This means they aren't and weren't in the warehouse, and there was no way you were going to "slip by before the teaming hordes decended".

Get ahold of yourselves. If Dell lets this one go through, it will be a miracle. If they don't, it will be as predicted.

I also got a "Credit Card was declined, contact your bank" email but I quickly called their credit dept. (877)# and corrected the problem. I had given them a debit card with enough $ on it so they can't pull that 'declined' crap on me. We'll see what will happed with my other brothers and friends who got in on the deal...
I dreamed about my new Karma last night>>> ...boy I'm a sick sucker for a Great deal....

Almost a 9 page deal in under 24 hours, impressive - though 95% of it is drivel.

I also got a notice about my credit card, but it trully was a problem on my end, money didn't transfer quickly enough, blah blah blah, its all fixed now, and my order is now "InProduction" and pending cancellation more than likely.

We are all being tracked by Dell. Everytime you click on a link in AT forum, it is recorded (to generate refereal revenue for AT). Same as links on all these deal sites. It is extremely easy for Dell to pull up a report to see where all these buyers are coming from. So if some people think Dell doesn't know anything about Anandtech, they are kidding themselves.

If they are going to cancel, why charge everyone's cards?? They want to hold on to our cash for interest a few days?
