Due to a malfunction in our computer systems, some customers
were recently able to order the Complete Matrix Trilogy HD-DVD
gift set from our website for $19.99 rather than the correct
price of $79.99. In addition, some customers were able to order
the O.C.: The Complete Fourth Season 5-pc DVD for $9.99 rather
than the correct price of $39.99.

Because of this pricing error many customers chose to place
multiple orders for each of these items. We are allowing each
customer who placed an order at the erroneous price to purchase
one box set of each movie at the lower price, and we are
cancelling all multiple orders as permitted by our Terms of Use.

Please note that you may at any time return to circuitcity.com
and place another order for additional copies of either item at
the corrected price.

In most cases, your credit card will have been charged for the
entire amount you intended to purchase. In this event, Circuit
City will issue a refund within 2-3 business days for any
amounts related to the cancelled multiple orders. Please
understand, however, that some financial institutions may take
5-7 business days to process the refund to your credit card
account.

muhahahahaha. so if you ordered 100 of them for $20 (hoping to pay $2000), your card has been charged almost $8000 (100 * 79.99)? what if your bank applies a overdraft fee? who's covering that ******?

Ummm, no. They'd just cancel the rest. It would be illegal for them to charge you a different amount then you agreed to.
 
I placed 2 orders and one was canceled, and looks like the other will ship.

Reading on slickdeals some people ordered 40+
 
Hmmm, can't beat that kind of CS...allowing those who only bought one to actually receive the merchandise and honor the mistake, while sticking it the eBay whores at the same time. Gotta love that.
 
My order status remains the same or no status...Order No: Pending
I'd be very impressed if CC honors its error.
 
If anyone bought it that doesn't want it, I'd be willing to take it off your hands. Just let me know. If you're looking to make a bunch of money, don't bother, it's not that important to me 😛. Just thought somebody might be nice, and I wanted to be the first to ask.

I did also, at least i didnt ruin it for everyone. We all get a cheap Matrix box or a free
$50 courtesy of ebay!
