The rebate does work. I just got mine from a couple of months ago.

It was a $20 rebate check even though according to their price list it was supposed to be a slig$25 rebate. Still, totally worth it.

For the last deal, it didn't let me presubmit online, but it still works if you send it in.

The rebate BEGAN in June, so if you submitted one of these for the Seagate Storage Tour before, you CAN NOT get a second one. Just FYI.

Lots of deals turning up on drives recently, i.e. the Seagate 320GB SATA for $89.99 on Newegg, the Maxtor 200GB SATA for $49.99 at Outpost

How does this compare to the Seagate 320GB above?? That one is a newer 7200.10 model I believe. Any opinions?

even if this isnt the .10 version this is a great deal with a warranty of 5 years! I was thinking about the 500gb SATA at BB but they only have a 1 year warranty. I was able to get 4 of these and just got my confirmation email - nice deal!

great deal....I am in the process of removing all my IDE drives and putiing in SATA drives, 1 installed and 4 more to go...may have to grab 4 of these...thanks
