160GB is definately not a lot of space nowadays. Especially not if you deal in video. I am pushing 400GB personally, and will soon purchase my TB datacenter.

This is really a nef post to complain about the nef.
For those of you that think you're going to get this deal, you're stupid.
For those of you that think you're going to sue because of this deal, please stop breathing.

Thank you.

For all you newbies, and those who should know better, a deal like this can work if even only until tomorrow *IF* some FOOL does not call the CSR !!!
WTF would you call and take a chance of jeopardizing your order?!

this is the same kind of Zones deal that has happened before, a "no-deal". Yeah, I got a cheesy calculator last time. After the way they botched the follow-up to their screw up, I decided I'd never do business with them again. :disgust:

added - confirmation emails and having your credit card charged mean NOTHING - I got the confirmations and CC charges on a previous Zones fiasco, sometimes I wonder if this is just a way to add some e-mail addresses to their database.

Just got this, no go on the drives guys, hopefully someone will get one.... Wonder if it's too late to order on that OD affiliated site? I had previously gotten the confirmation e-mail even. Oh, well, no biggie. Would have loved to get this, but didn't NEED it. Don't start B1tching guys and gals...... you win some, you lose some.

Ha, i'd never order from zones again. They pulled the same thing last year for the 40gig drives listed at $49. Cancelled all orders, and shipped a broken calculator in the mail as an apology.

Bad upload from supplier? I think a lot of the larger etailers receive automated feeds from their suppliers like Ingram Micro. They don't know about the mistake until they get hundreds or thousands of orders in a short time frame (or they are watching us).

if I remember correctly, the 40gig drives last year that were "unavailable, unfulfilled" or some such crap, WERE later available at a much higher price <morons>

you guys ordered something that OBVIOUSLY was a price mistake and now you want to ruin their reputation

and now their is talk of a class action lawsuit
rolleye.gif

im sorry but a small company like this would probably go bankrupt fullfilling all these orders
what do you guys expect?

though i do think shipping out broken calculators is an assenine thing to do

if I know its a price mistake i order and if it gets cancelled no biggie

its not like i lost anything

i doubt the CSR's there know anything and i would never take their word unless it was in writing

god forbid it should happened to your web store?

this is a lot different than a B&M doing this because

they can change the price right after they realize the mistake they can change it

and its not like 2000 people can order it before they realize it is a mistake

also wouldnt the same price from computers4sure also mean that it was infact a pricing error by the manufacturer?
