seasoning - Explain to me again the benefit of using an EVALUE CODE? I'm still able to select NO MONITOR without an EVALUE CODE, here's what I do:

1) Go to Dell.com ---> Home --> Desktops --> Dimension 4400 --> Customize & Price
2) Make your changes then click Continue
3) Select either:
Video Ready w/o Monitor [subtract $130] or
15-Inch Flat Panel Monitor Selected Below [subtract $130]

Go to Dell website, click intor the home&home office homepage, on the top left corner, enter the e-value code
then choose the dimension 4400. that's it

RossMan -- I have 3 computers and did NOT need this one :). The Shopps.CON computer was recently donated to Three Trees so our executive director would have a computer at her desk. A rather fitting end to a long and painful history for that computer. :) Now I just have to figure out how to explain the new case/computer to my wife. It has been easy to "upgrade" becuase she has no idea what is in the case. The MB keeps changing, the processor upgrading, the video card getting better, etc....... Still the same old computer as far as she knows. Now, A Brand New Computer in a box with three more sitting here ....... I justified three because there is Me and my 6 and 5 year old daughters and THEY WON'T SHARE WITH ME ! I think I is in trouble, but for this price, I am going from a P3700 at 933 to a P4 1.6. I was about to buy a new MB and Processor for $300 and then this happened. I guess my overclocking days are on hold until the next Hot Deal !

I'm still pissed off that I didn't get in on that Shopss.CON deal a P3/500 would have suited my needs from then until now. Oh well it's my fault for ordering too late in the game after they ran away with our money but I got a full refund from my cc.

I think ordering this was the smart way to go considering it's only $159 more than the $300 MB/processor and you get A LOT with that extra $159.

Is the $100 rebate only 1 per person, or can you order more and get a rebate on each one (if so how many).
I don't have adobe reader (actually for some reason, it crashes when I run it, and does the same thing when I reinstall)
otherwise I'd look at the rebate form myself.

Thank you

Will someone please explain to me why you need an EVALUE CODE to order this system without monitor?

I added it to my cart just fine without using an EVALUE CODE, so what's the advantage/benefit of using this code?

"Only actual purchaser of the qualifing products may participate in this rebate program"

Doesn't say anything about a limit per customer. :Q

I think the benefit of the evalue code is just a quick jump.

Just enter the code and it takes you directly to the system...

no clicking desktops, then 4400, then the specific 4400...and so on...

So it's just fewer steps... At Least what i think.

Plus if you go from dell.com click on home and stuff you can't get that price you have to go through the outrageous special link for this system.

I think... :)

Pothead - I already have 5 computers and have no need for another toy, so no I didn't jump on this although every bone in my body tells me to.

Just have to wait it out, the deal should expire in 1 hour at 11:00 PM CST then the tremblings will subside and I'll be able to breathe reguluarly again.

Hey RossMAN neither did I & I'm the one who posted it! ;)

Can't justify it, even if it is one of the best damn deals to come along this year so far!
