Demo will be released on the 26th (tomorrow).

Google must have pulled some strings to get him the demo early.

Well..if the demo is out there for those who did the EA store pre order then I think we'll be seeing it online soon from the "usual places"...ahem.

Yeah, but you have to pre-order the whole game from them for $49.99 to get the demo, when I could just wait until tomorrow and download it from wherever, then purchase the game at Best Buy or wherever its almost assured to be on sale for $39.99.

I just wanna know how this thing performs in actual game play - I have nightmares about needing to get loans to taste the Crysis goodness

Not wanting to pre-order just to check it out but if you've played it, please PM me your opinion

I don't want to see anything until I install the game from a retail box. 😀

Anyone else feel the same way?

Is the release date still in November?

I feel just the opposite. I have a sneaking suspicion that the demo will disappoint, and my not wanting to buy the retail version will be justified. I'd rather know now.

I have to agree. I was underwhelmed by the MP beta. While I thought the game looked amazing I found the gameplay to be somewhat lacking, at least for my play style.

That said I have been really looking forward to the SP demo/game which is where I think the game will shine.

Valid point.

How did you feel about Far Cry?

The funny thing is: EA says they unlockable vehicle for MP is for EA pre-orders only, I've bought that vehicle many times and it never stopped me. (Its an APC, basically an amphibious Bradly fighting vehicle).

The single player will be awesome. 🙂 Comes out tomorrow, along with the SDK/map editing tools, for free.

Well, the BF2 demo really impressed me the first time I played it and I bought the game soon after to many hours of intense summer 05 joy. Crysis hasn't been as intense but its still quite enjoyable, and with more variety and vehicles I think it could be really stupendous

Thought the game was a visual feast (so is Crysis), but that's about all it had going for it (my worry of Crysis).

IMO, Far Cry is still the best FPS game to date. Aside from F.E.A.R. I still haven't seen a game with better AI.

Same here. I thought Hellgate London was going to be decent until I downloaded the demo. It sucks bad. Everyone comparing it to Diablo are whacky or never played D2 before. I played D2 for years and it has ZERO the feel of diablo. Totally different!

I think Crysis will deliver for me though, because it's the same type of game as FarCry, and I liked FarCry.

PS: Where's D3???????
