And about the "taught in schools".....are you referring to the list of schools/districts that Chris Rufo came up with that "absolutely shows" it's being taught in schools?

The list contains ONE reference to any school teaching the book, and even that is suspect, out of the 31 on his list, and that was a school in Gladwyne, PA to 4th/5th graders.

The rest of the list consisted of 9 read-alouds, including on YouTube, and 21 instances of it being on recommended reading lists.

Evidence is not listening to Fox News. Evidence is a link to a school districts curriculum looking at the contents and evaluating. Those are not kept secret. Something related doesn't count because that is open to too much interpretation and you wind up getting MLK banned.

I've yet to encounter a person who can point to an instance of it, go into any real details about it other than their distaste for things that would be damaging and divisive for children. Standard Fox/talk radio regurg.
