"Not my idea" Book taught in schools. Do some research on that, or any of the several others.

Also, the quote in my above post is from an official VA government website. Literally says that they have to teach CRT.

Teaching kids, any color of kids, that they are bad based on nothing but their skin color is bad. I don't know why this is so hard to understand.

This was also far from the only issue that lost him the election. And his unwillingness to change.

It is funny to see Dems crying about something not being true as a running point, when the debunked "very fine people on both sides" was talking about white supremacist. When it wasn't. THEN The Dems STAGGED a tiki torch white supremacist photo op at Younkins bus, harkening back to that day. That should be illegal, does nothing but create division as it 100% political misinformation. Yet was allowed to stand and circulate with no problem.

So what you're saying here is that it's okay to lie about CRT (which does NOT teach any kids that their skin color is bad), lie about vaccines and masks (take horse dewormer instead!), and pretend that real white supremacists never marched with tiki torches chanting "Heil Trump!" (while you looked the other way), but if anyone calls you out on your lies then that free speech needs to be outlawed as divisive political misinformation?
I bet you also fancy yourself moderate and unbiased, amirite?

The ruling class works in mysterious ways since they have their hands in everything. Sometimes they come at you from left field. All these social movements appear to start organically, whether it's right wing or left wing, but that's far from the truth. There is usually a hidden hand in there somewhere. I can't tell you a definitive answer other than it's against the interests of the people. You think the billion dollar networks hosting former comedians, now political activists such as Maher, Trevor Noah, Colbert etc aren't using them for its gain? Same for the right wing side.

As for preventing certain people from voting, is that an ID thing? I don't think it's even possible in America to prevent people from voting. Enlighten us.
That ruling class you speak of love tiny stupid malleable brains just like yours!

Nevermind, leftist media and Dems repeatedly claiming it was not taught in Virginia. When in fact, there is proof it was/is taught. Claiming it is not taught anywhere in America is a lie. The OP is too dense, or is flat out lying about it. Common lefftie trait. Of course the lies of the left were not flagged for "misinformation". Rice said it very well, and got called all sorts of names for it. Heaven forbit a black person have an opinion that does not line up with hard left Dems. EVERY time they do, they're called all sorts of names. Yet the Repubs are racist. Please. Kinda like Dems tried to refuse people their voting rights for not wearing a mask in VA. That is illegal, yet were being turned away at polls for no mask. Good try Dems, I have no doubt more voter suppression will happen in the future from Dems and the media.
Where is your proof it was taught? Go ahead prove me wrong

I could say the bible teaches CRT but If I can't site chapter and verse then my claim would be pure bullshit. Kinda like yours. Also the question is which school district.

You people already used some bullshit claim of association with CRT to get some teachings of Martin Luther King banned in Texas. You just want black contributions to American history stricken. White people have already proven they can't be trusted writing history. If they can't get events from 1 year ago correct (Jan 6 insurrection) how can they be trusted with almost 250 years of this countries

God, I love the "Do your own research" canard being played. Right on cue.

And about the "taught in schools".....are you referring to the list of schools/districts that Chris Rufo came up with that "absolutely shows" it's being taught in schools?

The list contains ONE reference to any school teaching the book, and even that is suspect, out of the 31 on his list, and that was a school in Gladwyne, PA to 4th/5th graders.

The rest of the list consisted of 9 read-alouds, including on YouTube, and 21 instances of it being on recommended reading lists.

I would care about schools acting and teaching kids to be racist.
There are some stories to that effect.
But it is the media that would have to report on it, as I don't know them.

And since right wing media would be the only ones who care about such stories, "evidence" would not be accepted as such anyway.
There are 77 million kids in K-12 education, that translates to a few million classrooms, finding a few isolated cases of crazy is to be expected.

Evidence is not listening to Fox News. Evidence is a link to a school districts curriculum looking at the contents and evaluating. Those are not kept secret. Something related doesn't count because that is open to too much interpretation and you wind up getting MLK banned.

I was not sure exactly what CRT was, I was pretty sure that it was another tool for the rwnj to claim reverse racism again. I did a little research and found this.

It would seem like my guess was right.

How dare people apply critical thinking to racism?

I agree, unfortunately the rwnj look for people to take CRT to the extreme and then present it as what CRT really is.

I'm pretty sure I saw CRT this evening bar hopping on the lower east side and east village. I passed this public school in the city with all these different languages over the front entrance. Pretty sure that is CRT and communism, all at the same time. Please save us from this Republicans!

You cannot prove to me the moon isn't made of surplus cheese because big dairy needs to keep prices high. The mainstream media won't cover it so who knows if it's true or not. Do your own research.

That's what a lot of people arguing CRT systematic indoctrination might exist actually sound like.

I've yet to encounter a person who can point to an instance of it, go into any real details about it other than their distaste for things that would be damaging and divisive for children. Standard Fox/talk radio regurg. My usual response is usually something along the lines of, 'Well, that's odd to hear from someone who supports the likes of Trump and DeVos, it makes me unable to take your concerns seriously.' If dividing the public is bad, if harming the future of our students is bad, stop supporting those things and then we can talk. I really don't care if your feelings don't agree with history. I seem to recall a choice slogan popular among magats that seems to apply here.

If you find the figment you've made CRT into politically incorrect that still doesn't give you the right to decide which history is appropriate for learning, just underscores what entitled snowflakes you racists are. You don't care about critical race theories, you're working yourselves into a lather over anything that's critical of racists - big difference.

Texas enacted a rule that history can't be taught that will make kids feel bad. When the Holocaust comes up in class what are you going to do with the German and Austrian kids? Have them opt out??

If they allowed kids to opt out how would they learn about the 'opposing views' regarding the Holocaust?

Watching the major outlets quiz people relentlessly on CRT or being "woke" I can only come to the conclusion that the most obvious thing is to not defend but counter attack and change the narrative. Call it bullshit (I mean this literally) and then talk only what Republicans want to do if they get power like cut taxes on the rich and reduce education funding. Attack don't defend.
