Hmm how much would it cost for theatres to put sheet metal plating behind every wall...
Or a microwave EMI jammer.

When will these people learn that you should not attack a police.
you don't charge the police
you don't assault the polic
you don't taunt the police
you do what they say. Its not that difficult to understand. Resist? Well then you're gonna get some pain.

Methinks you didn't read and/or comprehend the damn article, nor were you there. The police report tells you all you need to know.Originally posted by: JulesMaximus

Really? It's bad to spray a 235 lb muscular man when he threatens to "kick your ass?" And to spray his accomplise girlfriend when she throws a big glup up side your head?
What would you do? Fall into the fetal position and cry?

I wouldn't have pepper sprayed them. I would have beaten them with my club.
Last weekend my buddies and I went to see Bourne Supremacy at a Beverly Cinemas down here at UIUC. There was a couple right in front of us that received about a total of about 8 phone calls during the movie, not the credits. The lady had her phone on vibrate but still she's a biotch for answering...at least she was somewhat quite. The guy she was with had his on ring and took his sweet time picking it up. He spoke pretty loudly and he would not put his phone on vibrate afterwards...we heard his phone ring a total of 5 times...he just kept answering. To top it off, both of them had modified their phones so they were clear and had white leds. Then in the very back of the theatre, yet another phone goes off and this guys talking real loud. If I were a cop I would have just bashed their heads in from behind -_-
i agree. i mean, there's even reminders before the feature even starts now! do theatres have to start a zero-tolerance policy? if your phone rings mid-movie and you decide to hold a conversation, you get kicked out of the movie.Originally posted by: Amused
I would have asked them to turn it off. If they gave me trouble, I would have gone to the management, told them about the cell phone users, and demanded my money back.
Theater owners need to be more proactive about this.

I agree. Even Chris Rock said, jokingly but truthfully, "Rodney wouldn't have gotten his ass beat if he'd have just OBEYED THE LAW".Originally posted by: JulesMaximus
Rodney King got what he deserved. Major media outlets didn't show the whole video, only the beating. They failed to show the part where he got TASERed, then GOT BACK UP and rushed the officers. This is considering that most law enforcement carries TASERs that continue to cycle a minor charge through the victims every minute or so after the initial jolt, to keep the suspect incapacitated. The big jolt knocked him off his feet and he got right back up. He was so doped up he wasn't feeling any pain.
Yes, I realize you were being sarcastic, but there are those that still think Rodney King is some sort of martyr. Probably those that used the riots as an opportunity to get themselves a new television.![]()

So what was her supposed "family emergency"? What, was her OTHER baby daddy calling her to say he couldn't watch HIS kid (1 of the 4 she probably has) because he was going to knock up some other lady?
Probably.
This has got to be the dumbest post I've read all month.
Month's not over yet. Keep reading.
So, are you saying you get dumber?!?![]()
No, I'm just saying that I stand by what I posted. By the names of the parties involved, and the incident described, I drew my own conclusions. If they're wrong, then so be it, but that's the way I see the two "victims" and I feel nothing for them.
Edit: And here are the mug shots of the 2 alleged "victims". HAHAHAHA OWNED! You tell me they don't look like a couple of loud, obnoxious, sh!t talking troublemakers.
I'm sorry, I forgot you had the ability to judge a person based on looks alone. What's that power called?
Oh right, uninformed prejudicial bias. You sir, are a troll.
Call me what you want, but after reading the articles and accounts of what happened, and seeing their pictures, I can very easily see these two "victims" escalating the situation and trying to get roughneck with the officer. In my mind, they got what they deserved.
Have fun at your next ACLU or Rainbow Coalition gathering.
