I'm in NY anyway... I did change my clock to test but their countdown is not affected by it.

I think its so people can give out an easy to remember url for people to contact them later.

I don't really like the idea but I did try to get several variations of my fairly unique name and got none of them so I'm just not making one.

Got my name, but its not like there are a million people fighting for it.
You guys should try taking marketable usernames like pizza, movies, music and see if you can sell it to a company for $$$

You can never change your username, you can't transfer your username, and I doubt you can change a personal account to a business account. I don't think there will be much of a market for Facebook usernames.
